Alias Kebab & Pizza House — Local services in Norwich

Sadly this will be my first and last order from Pizza XS. After ordering the 'Kebab Feast' (the most expensive kebab item on the menu) the food turned up 1 hour and 45 minutes late, cold and missing items. The grilled chicken was burned (blackened to charcoal, ruining any taste), the 'kofte', which is meant to be a minced meat kebab (usually lamb) looked like a square sausage (and tasted worse), and the donner meat was unseasoned and bland. Unfortunately you can just tell the meat is not of good quality. The pittas were untoasted and raw, the mint dip was a sugary yoghurt (I presume from those bottles of 'mint sauce' you can find in the cheapest supermarkets) and they had forgotten to include the advertised salad in the order.

For some the salad may not be important, but when you have ordered the most expensive kebab item, you expect to get all items, on time and hot. I called the restaurant to relay my discontent and asked them to send out a salad (with the meat and 'mint sauce' such poor quality and tasteless I wasn't going to force myself to eat it without salad), to which they told me "we are too busy to send you out a salad". I threw the food away.

Again, 1 hour and 45 minutes late on a Monday evening, cold and missing items - a waste of my time and money. Do...

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received during my most recent experience with your establishment. I have been a loyal customer and have used your service multiple times, but after this incident, I will not be returning.

Firstly, placing my order was extremely difficult because the staff member I spoke to did not speak English well and was mumbling throughout the conversation. This made it frustrating and time-consuming to simply place an order. Despite the challenges, I managed to place a large order and was told to expect delivery.

After waiting for over one hour and 20 minutes, my order still had not arrived. Given that my children were waiting for their dinner, I made a friendly phone call to check on the status of the order. To my shock and frustration, the person who answered the call completely denied that I had even placed an order.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. Not only was my time wasted, but my family was left waiting for food that never arrived. A business that fails to respect its customers and provide basic communication does not deserve repeat business.

I hope you take this complaint seriously and make the necessary improvements to your customer service and...

Ordered food at 8.45 told order would be delivered by 9.45 got to 10 o'clock and I tried calling the restaurant more than 8 times and never got an answer I then went on to order food somewhere else which was delivered within 30 minutes.. still no sign of my order from pizza xs on colman road then they started hammering at my door at gone 11 demanding I have the food the delivery guy was very unclean personal hygiene was enough to make me not want the food without waiting over 2 hours for food I explained I'd tried calling the restaurant with no answer he left then came back banging on the door again very rude extremely poor service can't comment on the food but from the looks of it I would never order again....
