Amazing food and service - shame about the parking restrictions.

We were in Norwich for the weekend and wanted to eat at a Chinese restaurant. Found this one on Google, and rang to make a reservation. When we got there - and were the only people eating in - I understood why the lady who took my call was surprised/confused.

Food was tasty and beautifully presented. Customer service was impeccable. The parking restrictions were explained to us - basically, you are limited to 60 minutes, after which you get a fine. So you need to move the car out of and back in the car park before it's been there for an hour. Not something most diners would do - hence almost all their trade is now takeaway or delivery.

The parking is a real detriment and, unless we can find street parking nearby, next time I'll make sure we have plates and cutlery so we can at least...

Kinda geared up for takeaway, with huge traffic of Just Eat folks in and out. But super comfy furniture.. I had a bench with silken cusions! The meal I chose was Wonton soup clearly restaurant-made wontons rather than "restaurant supply" from the likes of Wing Yip as they were smaller and fewer and five times more tasty! Served in a massive bowl and a VERY good base posh broth. Then I had king prawn fried rice with these outrageous sweet sticky ribs. They were indulgent and a bit norty just for one... but washed down with China tea and sparkling mineral water, it was a real treat. The rice was delicious without being salty nor oily, and the banana fritters I REALLY aughtna had, were little crispy bombs of bananery perfection, served with invert sugar syrup. It was awesome. Hugely recommended, and I now see why it has the BEST reviews on...

Absolutely appalling!! Food was ordered online at 6:30pm, scheduled to be delivered at 7:45. At 8pm still no food, called restaurant who said it was on its way was stuck in traffic and will be with us in 15 mins, we live 10 mins away and Google maps clearly showed no traffic. At 8:30pm still no food, called again and was met with attitude and lies of how they were really busy and that the driver was still stuck in traffic and there’s nothing they can do about it. Food eventually arrived at 8:50pm, no apologies from the driver and food stone cold. Won’t be ordering...
