I just wanted to thank the team at Sonkai for the amazing repairs that they did on my wedding ring. The ring is 20 years old and was my mother’s wedding ring before becoming mine, it was custom made so it is a unique piece. As it is white gold, it needed re-rhodium plating as it had yellowed over the years. It had also bent out of shape and developed a fine crack on the underside of the shank. I chose Sonkai for these repairs as they carry out work in-house and would not have to send my ring away to carry out the work required. I was also impressed by their custom work as it’s truly unique and beautiful. The team were extremely patient, answered all of my questions at consultation and made me feel confident that they would provide the best care and service for this very sentimental piece. The work was carried out to an exceptional standard, I was amazed by the results and the ring now looks like it did when it was first made. I could not recommend them highly enough, skilled and professional craftsmanship and a caring nature when handling a sentimental item. Fantastic pricing and a good timescale for the work needed....

Could not recommend enough! My engagement ring was too big- over 4 sizes! It was also a super intricate design and after visiting a couple of other jewellers and being told sizing the ring down at all was impossible (and being made to feel pretty stupid about it) I decided to try sonkai and I’m so glad I did! The staff were so friendly, welcoming and didn’t make me feel stupid for asking questions. The goldsmith himself (sorry I don’t know the name) was really open and honest about what I could realistically expect with the how small we could go and potential risks- he managed to get it down three sizes! When the ring was returned to me it was still in absolutely perfect condition, and I can finally wear my engagement ring 💍 thank you...

When my girlfriend and I came to sonkai, we were in desperate need to get our rings quickly due to some complications. Not only were our rings done to meet our time restrictions but they were PERFECT. The wife is so happy with how simple and elegant they look while also being very unique to any other jewelry store.

Update: One year later my wife and I are doing amazing and I knew she deserved another ring from Sonkai. She had no idea but she loves her new ring! Sonkai will forever have a special place...
