Lune Street Fish & Chips — Local services in Preston

Awkward and unaccommodating owner. Didn't explain that you can't eat in if you didn't sit down on arrival. We asked if we could sit down and we were told no, takeaway only in the plastic container. Does it really matter when the place is dead?!

Food itself average at best. Chips were sorry for themselves and seemed to have been fried last week. They were like scraps and hard as nails.

After reading reviews, he obviously can't take any feedback which isn't 5 star and is plain rude with anyone who tells him their honest opinion. Very rude and unprofessional.

Lovely little chippy, right in the centre of town. I had a takeaway and the lady who served me was super friendly and the food was really good. Had a few chippy teas in the last month from various places, and hands down this was the best. It looks nice and cosy to sit inside, they even have an old hi-fi system with loads of CD's there I'm assuming you can choose to play if you like. Quirky and a great idea. I'd definitely recommend to try out if you're in town...

This is Prestons finest Chippies I have been going for many years, its the best value cafe you will find with a real taste of Preston. The famous £1 chips and gravy or chips and curry has gone up to £1.50 which is still an absolute bargain especially for a family of 4 try and get hot food for a family for £6 anywhere.
