I initially had a terrible experience with Tick Station when I found a metal shard in my food during a previous order. It was a horrifying health hazard, and despite complaining to both Deliveroo and the restaurant for over two weeks, I was completely ignored. No action was taken, and I received zero accountability.
Hoping it was a one-time mistake, I decided to give them a second chance and ordered a thali yesterday. Unfortunately, they disappointed me again. The thali was incomplete—they didn’t include the roti, which is an essential part of the meal. Any Indian or anyone familiar with Indian cuisine knows that a thali without roti is simply unacceptable. I tried calling them, but they didn’t answer. It felt deliberate and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, when I reported the issue on the app, nothing was done. This kind of consistent negligence and disregard for customers is unacceptable. There are far better Indian restaurants in Preston that value their customers and serve quality food. I strongly advise against ordering from or...
Read moreHORRIBLE FOOD, CAUSED MAJOR FOOD POISONING to my wife and son. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
We went there as a party of 5 on a quiet Monday afternoon. The food was served lukewarm. Staff didn't seem to grasp the fact that food needed to be served with cutlery. We were given no napkins, cutlery or crockery. We ordered Kathi Rolls for starters, which were served soggy and lukewarm in foil, with no plates. The main course came out lukewarm as well as did the curries we ordered. We asked for sharing plates, which seemed to confuse the waitress. We had to get up a few times to fetch any cutlery and napkins ourselves as the waitress failed to get it for us.
My wife got MAJOR FOOD POISONING the same evening, which led to doctor visits. My son got food poisoning the next day, which led to multiple A&E visits.
We are reporting this place to PRESTON CITY COUNCIL. We have suffered food poisoning before but never reported it. We are forced to report it this time due to the severity of the infection. There is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with this place. AVOID AT...
Read moreTrying this after it being recommended and we left disappointed. How does an Indian street food place not have chai? We then opted for a soft drink, we asked for Coca Cola and after a while we were told they ran out of Coca Cola, no alternative like Pepsi max offered, it was only on paying we spotted this. We wanted to order the chicken monos which they didnt have them either. Nothing was clear on the menu if things had ran out. We ended up eating the dahi puri which were tasty but they were hard to eat as the sauce was in shot glasses. No serviettes given and it was messy. The dabha mini khati rolls tasted lovely.
We then got the bill and to our disgust the drink cans had 80p and we charged £1.95 each! Absolute rip off!!! The service was rubbish, no alternatives offered and a really...
