A very scenic location and a fully operational harbour. Not the biggest but ideally set against a backdrop of age-old ruins. A large part of the harbour is currently being restored and not at present open to the public. But should be a fantastic addition to the location. It's a working harbour and has signs every where stating the public are welcome to explore but be mindful it's a working harbour. It has a fresh sea food stand too that's just amazing. Also has the dunbar battery of which I have put photos up too. Please like them. This is a huge open space that is wheel chair friendly. No public toilets that I could see and believe me i was looking for them...love this place and i will be back....

It's a lovely wee harbour, though the surrounding streets are just every bit as lovely ☺️.
You can day dream imagining how it might have been hundreds of years through time.
This harbour along with every other one along the East Lothian coast should be brimming with local fishing vessels, and workers, rather than the huge vessels out of the northern harbours.
