Customer service was absolutely shocking. Went in as a client had asked me to grab them a mini fish and chips with mushy peas. My colleague advised that most places do kids meals which would be the right sort of size for this client (I work in community care). On arrival I asked what they do which matches this best, but the kids meal was with a fish cake rather than fish, but they did do a fish value box (Mini fish with large chips and a sauce of choice) but said they could do a cone. Upon payment each item was charged individually at a total of £5.25. Now the value meal was £4.99, so not a huge difference. I queried this and asked if they could just charge the meal deal as ive had that but just a smaller sized chips and the client wanted the peas separately. He said no, that is not how the system worked and if I wanted the deal price he would have to put it all together. At this point I said it was stupid, as this would mean that he needs to empty the tub and throw it away to pour it over the chips (cone of chips). SENT ENTIRE ORDER BACK TONIGHT AS BY TIME SHE SENT THE DRIVER BACK OUT WITH THE MISSING ITEMS THE OTHER PARTS WERE COLD. SHE SAYS SHE CANT ISSUE A REFUND UNTIL HER BOSS IS IN ON WEDNESDAY. BUT SHE WILL HAPPILY HAVE THE WRONG ORDER "TAKEN OUT OF HER WAGES" ....?? Read moreWhoever runs this place needs to do a course on customer service. I've been shouted at down the phone told told to shut up and listen. I've ordered from Hills for a while, recently I've noticed the delivery time is well over an hour, on this occasion 1 hour 30 mins. My order when delivered was cold, items missing charging me for a naan bread and giving me a pot of sauce in return which is £1 cheaper. I ordered a large house special and got a small, there was literally a couple of peices of meat the rest was chips and salad, I asked there to be only lettuce and onion I got cucumber and tomato and no onion. I'm mortified that this place is continuing to do this. I don't usually write reviews but people need know that this place doesn't care about customers it is money driven and in no way respects women.
