Airy pleasant cafe space with indoor and outdoor seating.

Reasonable price for standard cafe fare , mostly freshly cooked. Reasonable quality. I've been here a few times when working this way and happily return. Seems popular with locals.

Good breakfast to start our day. I think Stoke-on-Trent is famous for oatcakes. My first time to have it and I really enjoyed.

The oatcakes were very fluffy and was held together well with the melted cheese. The mushrooms were very juicy and plump. The bacon was cooked perfectly. I’ve ordered fish and chips. The fish was undercooked in the middle. Instead of making a scene, I’ve decided to discreetly tell the gentleman at the till. Without even checking the meal, he’s told me that this is haddock that I’m having, so that’s how it’s meant to be. I’ve eaten only the slimmer edges of the fish, but still ended up with upset stomach for 2 days. One of the worst experiences...
