The first aspect was being ignored when walking in and waiting at the desk, other customers were served before us who had arrived after us and we were left standing there for 10 minutes while staff members stood there and had a chat instead of serving us. After finally getting the lane, I went up to order some drinks, I was stood waiting there for a few minutes while the woman was doing something to the till and when she had finished faffing around, after very obviously noticing me she walked out to the back to have a fag, with no other staff members taking over and I was stood there with a few other customers baffled. The next thing was I ordered nachos for myself and others and we just wanted cheese on the nachos, no sauce and nothing else, I made this very clear to the staff member and when it was brought to our lane it was covered in sauce and had not even been cooked so the cheese was not melted, it was awful. My sister in law went up and complained and was told over and over again that this is how nachos are suppose to be, even though we had made it clear we did not want any sauce. I just think the customer service is appalling, and I will not be coming here again. I advise no one to go there if you're planning on ordering food as its awful and the staff need some...

Well, lesson learned! After our unfortunate dalliance with the competition at Hollywood Bowl, we came running back to Bugsy’s in Cliftonville, and it felt like a homecoming. We’re positively mortified we didn’t just come here in the first place and save ourselves the trouble.

Bugsy’s, you’ve outdone yourselves. We played four glorious games today, and every moment was superb. The lanes? Impeccable and just the right length—a proper ten-pin experience, with pins crashing down naturally instead of that bizarre puppet-string setup elsewhere. It was like the difference between a gourmet meal and a sad snack.

We indulged in some classic American-style fried fare, which was a delicious treat (who doesn’t love a bit of indulgence?) and enjoyed drinks at the bar—a perfect accompaniment to the game. The staff were friendly, attentive, and refreshingly competent—always a bonus.

Would give more stars if I could! Me and my family have been coming weekly for the last few years and look forward to it every week. The staff are all fantastic, customer service is brilliant, very polite, helpful and attentive in such a busy environment, I don't know how they do it!
