Absolutely fantastic Dog friendly We had to cancel a place because the manager called us and said a guide dog was expected and they only allow 1 dog per night Lester's were called and they accepted our table of 12 and a dog with no issues last minute When we arrived, the manager was funny, welcoming and made our whole experience a night to remember, we had a late arrival and was asked to cheer and clap when they arrived, so they knew when to come and take an order, which we found very ingenious and also lightened the mood

The food all came out at the same time all piping hot and was very fresh

The only downside is, we only had a couple of hours because of our issue with the other restaurant, as people needed to catch buses and trains

Next time will will choose Lester's...

Such a lovely find in Margate! This little Ice Cream Bar feels like stepping back in time—in the best way. The retro vibe, old-school posters, vintage jukebox, and pastel decor give it so much charm. It’s not just a place for a sweet treat, it’s a full nostalgic experience.

The ice cream? Absolutely delicious. We had the classic vanilla with visible vanilla bean specks—creamy, rich, and homemade. You can really taste the quality. They have a great selection of flavours, and everything is clearly made with care.

Perfect stop with kids or just for yourself after a seaside walk. Highly recommend for both the vibe and the ice cream!

I visited this shop while on vacation in Margate with my cousin and my daughter. My daughter really wanted ice cream and we found this place. Usually I just get one for her but upon seeing the flavours I could not help but get a cone for myself and same for my cousin. This is by far the best ice cream we have ever tasted. So creamy and rich! Like unbelievably! Anyone who complains that this ice cream is too rich, has never tasted real ice cream. Cream being the operative word.
