Having seen the reviews, we visited on a Saturday lunch time. The upstairs seating area was busy and a little loud but we had plenty of room and could still enjoy a chat. The food was superb. I had the Big Greedy burger (without tortilla chips) and my partner had the house burger. He was a bit worried that there we no chips on the Menu but we didn't miss them. We shared a side of huge hash browns and nachos. The burgers were amazing, and the sides and salads really tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Fab little restaurant for lunch and they had veggie and vegan options too. I'll definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Such a great spot in the heart of Margate! The Greedy Cow has a lovely relaxed vibe, perfect for a sunny breakfast or brunch. We had flat whites and their breakfast brioche buns with egg, bacon, and sausage – absolutely delicious! Fresh, generous portions and everything tasted homemade and high quality. The cherry tomatoes on the side were a nice touch too. Service was friendly, coffee was smooth and well made, and the outdoor seating area is ideal for people-watching or soaking up the sun. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend for a chill morning in Margate!

I had the Falafel salad with added halloumi and others had hamburger. The combination of the ingredients in the salad was very tasty and the sourdough slices were toasted and buttered. The burger meat is amazin, i had a small bite from the burger after my better half said it is simply one of the best burgers he had! That says something. Thanks for being amazing, we'll be back! And the weather was yood so we sat outside where the atmosphere is quite chilled and warm

The Greedy Cow is a what I would call a trendy type venue. No bad thing. There were no tables outside as it was a sunny day. One of the staff politely said there were plenty of tables upstairs. The stairs are steep so bear this in mind if you or any of your party have any mobility concerns. Our order way taken swiftly. My partner ordered the toasted cheese sandwich minus the gherkins but asked for bacon instead (£1 more). I ordered the 'plant burger' (which doesn't come with fries btw). At £8.50 each for both dishes we had high hopes. After a 20 minute wait, the food arrived. Oh dear. The toasted cheese sandwich was just that just like you would make at home. No garnish or anything else. My partner was very disappointed at the portion size given the hefty price tag. The burger was more of success however, but again at £8.50 on its own still also had a hefty price tag. With two cans of lemon San Pellegrino the bill was £23 (plus a tip on top). Staff are friendly to be fair but it isn't enough to make us go back again. As I was still hungry I went to Morrisons to get a sandwich meal deal- which did offer...

It's alright, this place. Nice people etc. No chips, but instead other healthy options, which is refreshing. The burger I had was well made, alongside a good coleslaw (though there were big bits of red onion in there, which everyone knows is evil and wrong), but the kids burger was bland in comparison. Come on, kids are kids but they're not idiots. Here's my son's face when he compared mine with his :(. Just make the adult burger smaller, guys. The side salad we had was interesting and tasty - figs, apples, beetroot. Really good, but weirdly no dressing. And because we sat outside in the communal area everything came in climate changey paper boxes, which was a downer. Still, pretty good, and much better than the Restaurants and the End of the Universe that...

Visited on a Sunday afternoon during a really sunny weekend. Really wanted to like it but it was a bit disappointing in the end. Peaceful ambience (we sat upstairs by the window) and friendly enough service. We had milkshakes and falafel burgers. The milkshakes were delicious but the falafel burgers were really hard to eat, soggy and fell apart. The onion relish was overpowering and too wet for the burger. Our son had a toasted cheese sandwich which was tasty. Had to join a queue outside to pay the bill (actually not sure if we had to but would have been waiting a long time to get the bill otherwise) It all just seemed a lot of money for average...
