I Visited the Great British Pizza place last night with some mates. We indulged in a few sharers, starters, pizzas, and a charcuterie board. Overall, the food was enjoyable. The meat pizza stood out and I'd suggest getting an individual pizza unless you're really into sharing, as the portions weren't massive. The pizza was satisfying without leaving you overly full, which is great if you're planning on having a few beers afterwards. There were some standout flavours, especially a spicy sauce on one of the dishes that I really liked. The garlic bread was decent, though not extraordinary. Same goes for the flatbreads with hummus. The charcuterie board, on the other hand, was well-prepared with a good variety of cheeses, which cheese lovers would appreciate. The pizzas were good. They didn't transport me to Italy, but they were definitely a step above your average pub pizza. I'd rate the food 7 out of 10. However, the overall experience gets an 8 out of 10, mainly because of the ambiance and the staff. The staff were genuinely friendly and engaging, which added a few extra points to the experience. They were great with our group, sharing a few laughs, which made the evening more enjoyable. The beer selection was good, and the restaurant had a cozy feel. I appreciated that the menu wasn't overly extensive, giving the impression that everything is freshly prepared. Any minor issues we had were addressed promptly. All in all, a pleasant visit. Solid 8 out of 10.

3.5 stars, I'm a big fan of pizza and these pizzas are a solid B. The dough is clean and fresh tasting though personally I'd rather if it was a touch thicker. The tomato is not great, its OK but nothing special. The cheese (real cheese not vegan) is pretty decent and is both melty and tasty. All these combine into an OK pizza that is not bad, as I said I'd rather the base was a touch thicker so you have a slightly more doughy base the base at the moment is more like a new jersey style bar pizza very thin and crispy. The place itself is very nice clean and bright with a view of the sea through the large window. The place is also dog friendly which is quite nice if you like/have a dog. Things I personally didn't like were: if you order a glass of wine you pour it from bar taps on the counter where you place your order (why?). Wobbly table. And the thinness of the base. Things I like, gold sign on the window, vegan pudding. And nice location.

OH MY GOSH. This statement might be a little divisive and I'm sure it is not the same across the board, but I am a little tentative of eating on the waterfront of anywhere! I wandered into this pizza place with two hungry, hot, tired kids on one of those mega hot days. The server was so friendly and sat us immediately. The pizza came quite quickly, we went with kids size cheese+tom obvs and garlic dough balls. Every single thing was delicious. I was hoping for scraps but the little blighters ate it all. Will definitely go back... ...thanks for having us and the great pizza 🍕💖 Not many pics the food was scoffed and my son who don't eat very much at all FINISHED IT!!!!!

Around Saturday at 3pm we were spoilt for choice for food near the Turner Gallery, but really fancied fish and chips on the beach so headed to the sea front. As we walked by a staff member brought out 2 pizzas to a couple sitting outside, my partner said 'those look good', so we turned around and headed in. We ordered a Margherita and a Beef Salami with horseradish pizza and a half pint of local IPA...They were all amazing. The ambiance was great and there were quite a few other diners including a young family with 2 kids. Food came in a timely fashion and we were well looked after. We are definitely coming back

First thing you notice when you walk in is the friendly staff, that made us feel really welcome the moment we came in, helped find us a table even though we didn't book. Then helped recommend their favourite dishes. And boy they didn't disappoint. We had the Honey Cashews (the warning addictive sign is no lie). For pizzas we had the Meat Feat <3 and a No Smoke Without Fire. Both were amazing full of flavour. Will definitely come back again and recommend to friends too. That's GB Pizza team

A colleague and I happened upon this place while were working nearby. We had tried a couple of other places that were closed and I'm glad they were or we wouldn't have found it. Great pizza and a welcome change from Neopolitan. Thin and crispy base, great sauce, great topping, great service and a great story to boot. Just a shame I live so far from it. I had a classic Margate'arita and an Ole. So good I came back the next night to take some home. Thoroughly recommend.
