Would never ever ever ever ever go to GB CO pizza again.

I was gonna spend over £90 worth of pizza and meal for me,family and friends. A day pay for that lovely rude uneducated waitress that dont deserve to have a job at all.i owen a business in london and I personally wouldn't let you come near my stuff as you would corrupt them.

NO ability to understand and feel what your customers are experiencing as you are not noticing your customers and you are NOT able to meet the needs effectively. POOR. BAD.

Surely this business isn't focusing on locals. they just focus on outsider's to charge them what they like and perform the rudeness skills they have.

With all the covid restrictions being eased on restaurant, you'd expect to have a polite and good looking stuff to be the face of the business to welcome customers in, no matter what they look like or what colour or religion they are.

I am happy that I didn't have to spend my money here. Despite I have just bought a house in Margate, I will never come back here again or even recommend to my client to come here.Surely this place has no management, and if there is any management then they don't care.

waitresses are all over the place,it's only a pizza shop. look like they dont have a clue what they were doing. no smile or welcome or even just a yellow fake smile to make you feel they atleast tried.

Waitress that was at the front door taking orders was soo rude and didn't even bother to explain the product and keeped sending us outside, no manners or customer service skills what so ever.

I felt like I was pushed away from the restaurant.

I honestly feel like I was treated unfair and not welcome at all. So Rude and Disgusting.

I wouldn't recommend this place to any black or Muslim or non white.

Thank you for you...

Booked a table for six for a birthday meal out with friends. We ordered our food and drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere whilst catching up with one another. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour for our food and witnessed multiple tables, that had arrived substantially later than we had, be served their pizzas before us. We were understanding that a larger group may take slightly longer than a table of two or three, however, as we had pre booked a table, the restaurant were aware of the number of guests that would be arriving and at what time. We were also not informed of the estimated time that we would have to wait. Given that four of us ordered the same pizza, it was not particularly complex. Once it had arrived, we all thoroughly enjoyed the food as it was to the usual high standard that I have always received from GB, however, I have never had, nor would ever expect, to wait an hour for food, especially without being updated.

Upon receiving the bill, the server had forgotten to remove the £30 deposit from the total which is an understandable mistake. When we requested that it be taken off as the website states is policy, we were initially met with some confusion and being told that it could be taken off “if you want”. Because of the slow service, we requested that the discretionary service charge be removed also, which was once again met with confusion and awkwardness.

I will be returning to GB as the pizza is exceptional, however, the service could be...

We had dinner here on Friday 26th July. When we arrived we were told it would be a 30 min wait for food, which was fine for us. We did end up waiting an hour but that is not the reason for the one star review. There were lots of people moaning that food was taking too long and the restaurant manager had a difficult job dealing with this but she did it well and professionally. On the table next to us was a group of three who after an hour of waiting decided to leave. The manager dealt with this really well, giving them a card for a discount next time and apologising. About 5 mins after they left a women came out of the kitchen (I believe the owner) screaming at the poor manager telling her they were VIPs and had she known she would have brought their order to the front of the queue. The manager rightly said that isn’t fair as there are lots of people still waiting for food. The woman from the kitchen continued to shout at the manager in front of everyone in a busy restaurant. This is such horrible nasty toxic behaviour. There is no way I’d ever eat here and support this business again. I wonder if all the people who supported this business when it burnt down realise this is the reality? If the manager reads this please know you are great at your job and deserve better. Please leave and go work somewhere where you are appreciated. If you are the owner this business you really need to think about your toxic behaviour and how that reflects on your business....

I Visited the Great British Pizza place last night with some mates. We indulged in a few sharers, starters, pizzas, and a charcuterie board. Overall, the food was enjoyable. The meat pizza stood out and I'd suggest getting an individual pizza unless you're really into sharing, as the portions weren't massive. The pizza was satisfying without leaving you overly full, which is great if you're planning on having a few beers afterwards. There were some standout flavours, especially a spicy sauce on one of the dishes that I really liked. The garlic bread was decent, though not extraordinary. Same goes for the flatbreads with hummus. The charcuterie board, on the other hand, was well-prepared with a good variety of cheeses, which cheese lovers would appreciate. The pizzas were good. They didn't transport me to Italy, but they were definitely a step above your average pub pizza. I'd rate the food 7 out of 10. However, the overall experience gets an 8 out of 10, mainly because of the ambiance and the staff. The staff were genuinely friendly and engaging, which added a few extra points to the experience. They were great with our group, sharing a few laughs, which made the evening more enjoyable. The beer selection was good, and the restaurant had a cozy feel. I appreciated that the menu wasn't overly extensive, giving the impression that everything is freshly prepared. Any minor issues we had were addressed promptly. All in all, a pleasant visit. Solid 8 out of 10.

3.5 stars, I'm a big fan of pizza and these pizzas are a solid B. The dough is clean and fresh tasting though personally I'd rather if it was a touch thicker. The tomato is not great, its OK but nothing special. The cheese (real cheese not vegan) is pretty decent and is both melty and tasty. All these combine into an OK pizza that is not bad, as I said I'd rather the base was a touch thicker so you have a slightly more doughy base the base at the moment is more like a new jersey style bar pizza very thin and crispy. The place itself is very nice clean and bright with a view of the sea through the large window. The place is also dog friendly which is quite nice if you like/have a dog. Things I personally didn't like were: if you order a glass of wine you pour it from bar taps on the counter where you place your order (why?). Wobbly table. And the thinness of the base. Things I like, gold sign on the window, vegan pudding. And nice location.
