Church of Saint Wilfrid, Standish — Local services in Wigan

Currently undergoing roof repairs but services as resuming as normal. Very old traditional large listed building church with seating for maybe 200 people. Nice gardens on entrance and wall structures. A beautiful example of old architeture. Services all available, weddings, christenings general services. Church bangers on the organ with speakers within for everyone to hear also the vicar speaks with a mic throughout to keep everyone together and a large tv for presentations or pictures. It was a little cold in there but my experience of that is the same for all old churches. There is parking outside the church and in a carpark to the side other than that its standish centre there will be somewhere u can park.
