Fifteens @ Standish — Restaurant in Wigan

Came in to a booking for 7pm & it took us 15 minutes to receive the table because there was at least 5 members of staff stood at the bar chatting and didn’t acknowledge we was stood there, then when they finally came over they told us they had accidentally given our table away but they could squeeze us in & sat 4 of us around a table for 2.

We then ordered the food & whilst waiting, 2 waitresses came over with the wrong orders, and after waiting 45 minutes we had to ask where our food was because we still hadn’t received anything, to which they replied “what was your order” and then disappeared for a further 10 minutes & eventually came back to tell us our order hadn’t been put through so they would put it through now & it would be on the house. She came over with the “refund”, after us being there for over an hour, of £18 between 4 of us & when we told her that was wrong and it was £60 she refused to refund that much.

We asked what would happen next and she said she would put the food through, so we asked about the refund too, which she said we could either receive the food for the money or cancel the food and get the refund, after claiming it would be on the house. So after an hour and half of being there we left without eating.

The manager on shift was very rude and inconsiderate towards us and spoke as if it was our fault the food hadn’t been put through. Overall was a really bad experience and won’t...

Went for lunch at 1 ordered sandwiches and they hadn't come by 2.15 they had problem with soup so instead of bringing sandwiches they left them standing another 15 min then when they came it was on a garlic bread base cremated so sent them bk an we got free drinks but they neva said they were free because of wait no communication with any1 so manager said I ll do it my self then said no bread but saw chef go 2 store room an come down with bread then the girl waitress said we've no bread its frozen so I did tell him put it in microwave so it came and looked ridiculous we asked for extra salad but got a plate full of rocket not 1 piece of lettuce no cucumber no pepper so wasnt in mood for it x sandwich on a stick an we both had half a sandwich missing x then my soup came an they didnt bring me a spoon or roll so had 2 ask again then they bring a bun that u buy half cooked but did nt cook it x then went 2 toilet not a piece of toilet paper in all 3 toilets an no soap or sanitizee on Friday when its gonna b busy so instead of the 3 stall standing round there was plenty 2 do x I've worked in cafes an had 10 people waitin an I've served um all in 10 mins so wat was ment 2 b a nice relaxing lunch turned into a very stressful 1 an there was only 5 men in the place drink so God knows what it's like when busy x sack the manager I could do it with my eyes closed x gawjus place though...

Worst experience I have ever had…

Attended bottomless brunch with 3 friends, immediately took arrival we were met with hostility. We got told we were 15 mins late for our start time at 7pm, which is fine as we were about 5-7 mins late due to being unable to park.Anway that were fine with us as we understood we were running late. We started our bottomless brunch and I have to say the food that arrived were brilliant, out of 4 of us only 3 of us were having the bottomless brunch due to one of our friends being dairy free and there being no options for her. So she decided to try one of our chips and almost instantly a member of staff came to our table to tell us our friend would have to sit on a different table if she wanted to eat from our brunch.

Overall the staff really let this place down, all stood around chatting and being generally rude. The food were great really enjoyed it, the drink selection were pretty rubbish and we got sat on a table right by the door which all the staff kept leaving open resulting in us being cold.
