I visited Donna Laine after losing a diamond on my engagement ring. From the offset, they were amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly, (to myself and my daughters who I’d dragged along) they listened to my rambles and then offered to get a couple of quotes from the workshop - one to replace the diamond and one to redesign the ring. I didn’t hold much hope for the first option, having been told elsewhere that repairing it was impossible, I had already resigned myself to changing the ring completely but waited for the quotes to come through. A week later, I received my quotes and was amazed to see replacing the diamond was an option. I even phoned to double check it was correct as I genuinely couldn’t believe it.

10 days later I got a text to say my ring was ready. An hour later I was in store collecting it and oh my goodness. I had to hold back tears. My ring looks brand new and I am over the moon. I am so incredibly grateful - thank you for giving me my engagement ring back. I will definitely be recommending you to everyone I can, and you will be my first port of call whenever I need a jewellers.

I absolutely love Donna Lane Jewllers. Recently I was lucky enough to experience nearly two hours in this beautiful small but perfect shop. I sat at a small table surrounded by glittering jewels, if a shop could hug, this one did. I've had a bad experience with Winchester jewellers in the past, but Donna and Nick put me at ease.with their easy friendly manner and professionalism. I took 3 rings in that I hadn't worn for many years because they were to small. Donna promised me they would come back looking sensational and she wasn't wrong, they sparkled I haven't seen them looking so good. The workmanship so fine, highly recommend Donna Laine, if you have jewellery that requires any kind of work. She will give them a new lease of life. In 2017 😳 I brought in 3 sapphires from the Byzantine ring my daughter’s Father had given me to commemorate her birth; as I’d wanted these stones to be reset into a pendant. As I had no idea how these stones could/should be reset, Donna suggested they sketch a few designs. We reviewed these, with my daughter choosing the ‘peapod’ setting. (It was also my favourite). My original intention had been to present the Pendant to my daughter, at her Nursing Degree Graduation. Then….. I endured both C’s. And time ticked by. This Easter 🐣 yes, March 2023, way past the initial Degree, and two Masters later; I collected the Pendant!
