Well, I love browsing in Ollie's. You never know what you will find and the music, is hah!, always fun š. It's pretty good for buying linens at a good price/selection. If you shop often enough you can get some pretty good deals on unique food items. I have found that many times food items can be kind of "off". So be careful. Huge variety of "as seen on tv" items, which if you are truly in browsing mode, can be fun. HUGE selection of very cheap cookbooks, religious books, craft novelty books. The entire back of the store is carpet and flooring. I did get all of the laminate flooring for my home at a fraction of the cost of same item in other stores. 5 years later, it has held up. The toy section...well, again if you go there often and shop a shipment sale you can find some great deals. Otherwise, proceed with caution. Many of the toys are knockoffs of popular brands and are of questionable quality and safety. Overall, it's a good store. Endless variety of items, given the day, week, season. Great prices. I rarely see associates on the floor, but whenever I need someone for assistance they go above and beyond typical customer service. I have noticed lately the store seems to have improved the lighting and the shelves look more organized. Good if you need to run in for a quick, affordable gift, you will find one; And fun to just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOllieās is my happy place. The selection is wild, with anything from cereal to fishing gear to flooring. There are a lot of good deals to be found on varying products, with my most frequently purchased items being candy, snacks, things for around the house (trash cans, zip ties, stationery, clothes, cleaning products), and toys. There are new items every week but the whole āget here soon because when itās gone, itās goneā is extremely accurate. If there are high demand items coming in that you want, aim to get there the same day (usually Wednesdays). Donāt be afraid to really dig around and see whatās available, Iāve found a lot of great stuff by looking behind things and sorting through the sheer number of products available. HIGHLY recommend checking the expiration date for food and inspecting thoroughly. I have purchased expired stuff unintentionally and found bags of coffee that had been slit by a box cutter...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff is by far the rudest I've come across in some time .Customer service is not their stronge suit. I searched the isles for someone asked about a price on a gazebo the guy made wait before he would come over to see what I was inquiring about after a 5-10 minute wait he points to another area on the other sude of the store. I get over there to see no price on anything, how helpful was that wasted time. I would rather be told I'm not sure then to send me with expectation and how hard would it have been to walk me over to see if another customer had the same question later š¤. That would have been many birds for one stone. And the foul language in the middle of the store talking about the very place I'm shopping in really is...
