Bad experience.. the bartender “forgot” our drinks, although he didn’t charge them, in the end, but we felt that he ignored us every time we tried to get his attention, my partner felt that the bartender was a bit racist and that was the reason why he attended to others except him, but remember that appearances deceive Ice House.. and we are in Abilene, a diverse community, because of the Air Force base.. Went to the Ice House. Spent at least two hours window shopping at the goods store. (OMG!) Sat at the actual bar; he had his spirited beverage; I my non-spirited beverage. Assessed the dynamic achitectural choices made to design the space. Rarely do I give 5 stars across the board. This place is close First, we're in Abilene, not Dallas, but the food, service and band made it feel like we were a big city (in a good way).

The burgers were great. The fried pickles were just ok. The southwest egg rolls were almost as good as Chili's.

My only knock was the Shiner sponsorship of the taps. With so many good local beers...
