I went to Vapor Maven on June 9, 2025, at 830 pm. I purchased two Meloso vapes and used my points to get $5 off. My total was $37.87. The young blonde lady had me run the card, and on her side, it stated it didn't go through. So she had me rerun it. Vapor Maven ended up charging me twice. I had to run to HEB afterwards, and that's when I noticed. I immediately called them and informed them of the situation. I just needed a simple refund. I was informed she was unable to do a refund. She took my information. She also gave me a number to call. However, that number has been disconnected. Go figure. I called back and told her the number doesn't work. The manager emailed corporate, and nothing has come about this. I called the Abilene Police Department. They told me to file fraud charges. So I was also told by the store on 351 that it's the employee's responsibility, and he called someone. They said I needed a receipt I didn't get one because I don't normally have issues. I am being told that I am "aggressive." I will not be getting a refund. So Friday, the 13th of 2025, I will be filing fraud charges against Vapor Maven, which includes the manager who refuses to follow up or communicate properly and the cashier who checked me out. Vapor Maven stole the money I needed to buy my dogs their food for the month. I did end up borrowing money to take care of that issue. My point is this company is shady and has major communication issues. I hope the right person finds this and fixes the error before Friday. I would give no stars if I could. Read moreThe lady that was in there today has been RUDE EVERY single time my husband and I have been in there. I do not know her name but she argues with customers and then just kicks them out. ABSOLUTELY WILL NEVER GO BACK IN TO THIS VAPOR MAVEN. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day the very first time I encountered her. well nope we live right down the street and usually are in there 3 to 4 times a week. Normally the people in there are great and very helpful but, that person that was in there today and the last few times I have been in there is just WOW. My husband buys his coils for his vape in there. today she told him they dont sale those there. My husband kindly told her he had gotten them there before. She lost her mind and said are you calling me a liar. He said no I just think maybe you might not know whats actually in here. She then got even more offended cause he was looking at what she needed. His phone rang and she said WE DONT ALLOW PHONES IN HERE YOU HAVE TO LEAVE GOOD DAY. Mind you it had just rang at this point he hadnt answered. The store reset its currency, causing me to lose significant savings. I had been accumulating points since the contest began until the reset. During this period, they've occasionally refused returns or exchanges and denied sales due to language I've previously used. Despite this, I've remained a regular. I engage with the staff and even offer advice to other customers on occasion when the worker isn't in the know. Today, after going through the usual routine, I was denied at the register because my ID had expired about two weeks ago. I'm waiting for the replacement in the mail. While it's within their rights and policy to refuse service, it's disheartening.
