I start this by saying I work as a manager in food service, my patience & empathy is unmatched for these human beings trying to make a living. But its inexcusable; I placed online at 11:09pm. Arrived 10 mins later, didn't receive the food until 11:45pm. I was never informed at the speaker that they couldn't make the new dream freeze.. got to the window and was asked to change the drink. I asked why this wasn't communicated to customers prior @ speaker.. The "manager" on shift came to the window and said "Hey man i don't know i wasn't taking orders, I just make the food" I did not receive his name. I hate to place blame on this guy who is probably already dealing with enough and i understand that this is simply a problem with how this specific business is run overall. This taco bell alone never fails to disappoint me.. i discourage going to this one. Hope they get a new general manager/store operator. Revamp their training/coaching courses. You are supposed to appologize first and foremost, don't recall even getting that once. Usually Go to danville, sad i expected poor service & wasn't impressed. Example: At my restaurant we offer a remake later, get your customer name down & problem is usually solved. This could've been easily resolved with better corporate standards & better pay for these hard working three...
Read more11/3/25 12:00pm. Came in for my 30 minute lunch break. Ordered my food via menu screen. Chose the option to pay with cash after order was complete. I stood in front of that counter for 29 minutes!!!! After being asked if I had a Door Dash order I said "no, but I've been waiting for my food for almost 30 minutes. They asked what the name was on my order and I told them "Val". A female wroker said that she didn't have a "Val" on her side. When she asked her male coworker on the other side he didn't say anything but simply grabbed a cup, approached the counter and said "that'll be 12.95". I replied by saying "For what? No thanks. I no longer have the time to eat on what was my 30 minutes lunch break." Not one "we apologize, let us make that right". Just a dirty look and a "whatever" by the male worker working the window side line. This was my "go to" spot for lunch when working in this area of town. That's no longer the case. Just a side note...there were a whole two people dining in already eating. Thanks for...
Read moreWith customers handling their own orders at the kiosks and there being very little (if any) interaction between employees and customers, why is the food so expensive? Taco Bell is acting like it wants to streamline processes to save money and be more efficient, but the price of the food suggests that they're trying to get as much out of their customers as possible. A flat quesadilla, burrito, and large drink should not run me $17-$18. That's ridiculous. There also always seems to be some kind of shortage at these stores, and while it rarely affects me, it's something that I do notice.
For comparison, the "Box Combo" at Raising Canes offers much more food and a similar drink size for between $12-$13. Heck, for two more dollars, I could go enjoy the Lemon Butter Chicken and Herb bowl at Logan's Roadhouse. It makes absolutely no sense to be spending this kind of money here on food that is okay at best when there exist significantly...
