We have been using this Walgreens for our prescriptions and drugstore shopping for over 15 years, back when Ellen worked in the cosmetics dept.
I see the complaints about the pharmacy, but we have never had any issues. I think people don't understand how overworked and understaffed all corporate pharmacies are. The pharmacy staff has never been rude to us. Sometimes, they are extremely busy and not as cheerful as other times, but they are always pleasant and efficient. They are ALWAYS busy. I have never seen them having downtime. Even when there is a line, the techs always take the time to see if Good RX offers a better deal. I think they do an excellent job doing so much with so few employees. I hope they are compensated well.
We have used online delivery orders and online pick up services. âââââ for both. They are so quick with both. Delivery is great when you are sick and don't want to go pick up over the counter meds. We usually have our delivery orders within 2 hours.
I love the coupons and weekly sales. There are certain things we always buy here when they are on sale bc they are such good deals. The BOGO on vitamins end up being really good deals. We rack up a lot of rewards, too.
I do agree with another review about the front of store employees. The older Black gentleman is so pleasant. He always asks how we are. If I am alone, he asks where my daughter is. He asks how my family is. He always makes sure my coupons are applied. Love him! Give him a raise. đ The tall white guy (manager?) is never friendly. He might be competent at his job, but his customer service skills are...
Read moreWell Walgreens was very good up until about a year ago and after that I just went bad the new pharmacy workers use profanity talking sexual things and I had a refill to be picked up a when I got there to pick it up I found out that they had sold my medication to someone else I asked why? There answer was we sold it to a person who needed it more than you and if that's not bad enough they have a new old lady working back there that even though you are in the computer system she has got a personal list of people's names on the medication that they are on and before you can get your medication she has to check her list and it causes a big problem with holding people up and she is also really rude and smart mouth like the time I went in there to pick up a medication she gave me the run around and got really hateful and very smart mouth with me so I am the kinda person that don't take that to kindly so I told that what I am going have to do show her my license to prove that I am who I am she just looked at really hateful but after spending a good long while with her screwed up ways I finally got my medication but I am not going to do business with Walgreens anymore I would not recommend...
Read moreI have been getting prescriptions filled here for two years. The service level has dropped dramatically, and it is cumbersome to get any kind of answer regarding refills or necessary steps. I understand due to labor constraints, that it is challenging, and staff is overworked. However, the staff acts like Iâm a burden to them. Recently, I was advised 45 minutes to pick up a refill, I showed up an hour later. My refill was not ready after sitting in the drive-through line for 20 minutes and was asked to go back to the end of the line. I found that experience infuriating.
There are a few staff members working in the pharmacy who do not want to be there. They speak rapidly, too softly to the you can barely hear them. I have experienced this frustration. I am concerned with other customers as well. They have done this to elderly customers and other hearing impaired customers.
I will no longer continue business with this Walgreens. Period. I sincerely hope this is addressed. A pharmacy should be compassionate, efficient, and set the proper expectations for healthcare needs. People working in pharmaceuticals who act like this are a disservice to...
