Horrible experience. Went with family during a baseball tourney and only had 45 min to eat. We pull in. Take a few minutes to figure out what we wanted and I pressed the red button. About 5 minutes later they come over the intercom and I think they tell me to order, so I start saying my order. About halfway through no one is there. I press the button again and they tell me they are only taking orders at the drive thru. This would've been nice to know before I spent 10 minutes trying to order car side. So, I go in the drive thru. Fourth in line. Another 10 minutes go by before I get to the window. I'm told to hold by a guy. A few more minutes go by and a girl says she is sorry and go ahead with my order. I start with our drinks, two ocean waters and two grape slushes. I'm told to hold again. A couple more minutes go by and she apologies and tells me to continue. I ask if she had the drinks and she tells me to start over. This time I get past the drinks to the kids meals and it happens again. Now there are like 5 cars behind me and they start honking. I've been here over 20 minutes and haven't even completed my order. She comes back and tells me to continue, I ask her what she has so far and she said I needed to start over again. At this point we had no faith our order would be correct, or if we could get it in time to get back to the ball field, so we told them not to worry about it and we went to the gas station next door for our lunch, because that's all we had time for at that point.    Read moreOrdered in the app and when the food came out the server just handed it to us and tried to walk away. We had to bring to her attention that we were missing a menu item. She was confused and looked at the recipe. She said oh yeah our machine is broken and tried to walk away again. When we asked about a refund she asked if we wanted something equivalent. When we said we just wanted our money back for the item she was like "uh... Oh... Well you have to do it from the app" and finally got away. After looking for 30 minutes in the app we could not find out how to get a refund so I guess it's a lost cause. I'm not even mad that that's the only way to get a refund, it's that our server was intentionally (in my opinion I may be wrong) trying to give us our food as fast as possible so we wouldn't notice and try to bring it up to her. She made no eye contact with us the whole time. Also side note: when we pulled up the app had crashed while the payment was processing so we had no clue if it was sent.    Read moreI recently moved to Acworth and have been to this location twice so far, but don't think I will ever be returning. The first time I came through the drive-thru, my fiance ordered a side of tots and that was it. The young boy who took my fiance's debit card took a few minutes to run the card, but the transaction never showed up on our bank statement, which we thought was odd. Out of precaution of having our bank account compromised, my fiance cancelled his debit card and ordered a new one. A week or so later, I went through the drive thru to order a meal, and the young lady who took my order was acting "sketchy" when I pulled up to the window. For whatever reason, she was laughing at me and I could clearly HEAR that she was making fun of me with her coworkers. I stared at her while she was running my payment, but it took her a few minutes to give me my card back - she also had her head down writing something while my card was being ran. I thought it was strange and told myself that I would never go back to that location. A couple of days ago, my debit card was comprised and I had to dispute the transaction and order a new card. It could be a complete coincidence, but my card has NEVER been compromised before and it makes me wonder if the night I went to this particular Sonic has anything to do with this.
