I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Acworth Waffle House, and it was an experience that truly sets a new standard for this iconic chain. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this location was something special. The staff, led by the incredible Ellie, went above and beyond to make my nightly outings memorable.
Ellie, in particular, stood out with her warm demeanor and attentiveness. It’s clear she takes great pride in her work, and her positive attitude was infectious. She managed to make each customer feel like they were the most important person in the room, which is no small feat for a server.
The food at this Waffle House was, of course, top-notch. The waffles were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just like they should be. The hashbrowns were a delight, and the variety of toppings available only enhanced the experience.
What truly sets this Waffle House apart, though, is the outstanding service. Ellie and her team made every interaction feel personal and genuine. It’s rare to find a place where the staff is so engaged and passionate about their work, all the while being friends. They clearly have a great dynamic, and it shows in the way they handle even the busiest of shifts with grace and efficiency.
Comparing this location to others, it’s evident that the Acworth Waffle House raises the bar significantly. While other Waffle Houses may be good, this one stands out as a paragon of excellence in both service and food quality. If you’re in the area and looking for a place that offers not just a meal, but an exceptional experience, I highly recommend stopping by.
In short, the Acworth Waffle House is a cut above the rest, thanks largely to the amazing team. They turn a simple breakfast outing into something truly special. I can’t wait to return and see them again once I return from...
Read moreAVOID THIS LOCATION FOR YOUR HEALTH!!!!! WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS!!! It was a little disappointing to spend over $40 to have our food missing half the ingredients that we were charged extra for (not complaining about paying extra, but when it's missing that kinda sucks)and the eggs were scrambled so hard they were almost inedible. Also no silverware or butter for the waffles/toast. Based on other reviews it seems like this place usually gives a better experience which is why I'll give it 2 stars but I don't think we'll be returning to this location.
EDIT* After giving this place another chance I'm never going back. 5 star dining experience isn't what I expect from a waffle house but to order hashbrowns with extra onions and cheese just to have an order of double HASHBROWNS almost spilling over the plate with nothing on them. They don't accept phone calls anymore so after going back to fix the issue, instead of making me a new plate, they threw a piece of cheese on the pile and called it a day. So now I've once again wasted money on food here that I'm not going to eat because one that's HIGHLY unsanitary and secondly the food is now ice cold. $15 in the garbage... I'll be calling tomorrow to try to get a refund because that's...
Read moreReally? Normally the service is fine the other times I have been here. What was different? Noone seemed to want to assist. As we walked in, one female server was on the phone taking an order. And it seemed as though she was the only one working. Another female server was standing to the side speaking with a customer leaving or her friend, boyfriend or husband. No matter who he was, she was oblivious to anything else. A Male employee, I would assume he just got there as he was busy putting his bag down. Another employee came out of the back. No one was cooking. There were 4 sets of customers seated. No clean tables except for the counter. Another family walked in. As we waited, the first server stood by the grill waiting to call her phone order. The men were trying to break a $50. (Yes it took 2 of them.) And the other server was still talking with the guy. You would think that at some point, someone would say "give us a second so we can clean a table for you." Nope not a word. I work in a service industry and this would get someone fired. Really bad service. We left and went to a more accommodating Waffle House...
