Artisan Fox — Local services in Ada Township

I want to be very fair to this business. I really enjoy shopping there and they do good work. The owner is kind and the florists do good work. The issue is they can never actually take your order or make an arrangement. In the past two years I've successfully purchased flowers from them about 3-4 times and have at least, at a minimum, 6 times I've called or stopped in for an arrangement and they "are not taking orders today". They say they're a small shop and doing what they can. I could maybe see this happening because they're so swamped once or twice, but it's more the rule and not so much an exception.

It actually bothered me so much that last week I stopped in simply to talk with the shop owner and let her know they do good work, I want to bring my business there, and I even tried to order flowers that day. I was asked to please return 4 hours later to place an order. Kinda frustrated me to no end, I ended up taking one of the two arrangements that were already prepared because I could not come back and while I was willing to wait, they were not able to serve me - the ONLY customer - in their shop at that time. I thanked her and thought, try again they're trying and a small team, you like their work, their prices are fair. One week later...I called today to see if they could make a corsage for my daughter and before I could get much more out, the gal on the other end of the line said, "We're not taking orders today."

When you can get service and when they are freed up to actually take your order, the product is good, the price is good, the flowers last. But more often then not, they're not taking orders, or are booked up for the day, sometimes closed when they're supposed to be open. I wish them well, but I'm...

I found Artisan on a google search. Since I was not local, I was very hesitant to place an order via phone without seeing the actual arrangement. Well, I will say that not only Daisy worked patiently with me, understanding our need and budget, but she explained the process and flowers and vases she was going to use and she asked me to trust her with the design. I am so happy I did! She designed the most gorgeous arrangement! I can say without a doubt that this flower shop is 10000% recommended! They worked with me, they delivered on time and the quality….just AMAZING! Without a doubt the best flower shop in Grand Rapids!!! Their beautiful design was the talk of the night! I'm not even sure how to find words to describe how amazing Daisy was for our wedding in October. My husband (who used to work for Daisy), and I met with Daisy to give her an idea of what we wanted for our wedding. I showed her a few vague ideas from Pinterest and she ran with it and did an unbelievable job. From fresh greenery for the reception to the most dainty and elegant bouquets for me and my bridesmaids, I could not have dreamed up anything better.
