I purchased a brand new King sized bed frame from this store. I bought the whole set a few years ago, in a queen sized, had no problems with any of what I ordered, so why not order the matching king sized frame? After several week I received a call that my furniture was in. I came to the store to inspect my new purchase and I was also told that the order would be throughly checked before I picked up it up. Upon picking up the frame I checked all but few boxes in the dark back room of the store. The lighting was not awesome for checking anything on the bedframe. Upon finding a flaw on the headboard I brought it to the managers attention. He then told us to fix it with a marker. Reguardless of the few Small flaws I saw I went ahead and took the beddrame home. Upon opening the rest of the boxes in better lighting I realized that due to the low light i had not noticed several places where there where CHUNKS missing from my brand new bedframe. I called the store to inform them of the flaws in the product they sold me. They said I should send an email to Rob Gannon, the manager, the same man who told me to fix flaws with a marker. He never even replied to the email I was instructed to send. I actually dropped in the store for a visit today. Rob the manager was more than happy completely wash his hands of the whole situation. Rob said that since I picked up my bedframe and didn't pay for their company's delivery service, they won't be liable for any damage. Rob said he has no idea what "could" happened to the frame once it left the store. As if I would purposely damage my own furniture that I worked hard to save for And Paid for in full at the time or purchase. I was not in any way informed that they would not be accountable for damages unless they delivered it themselves. To say that I'm disappointed how the manager approached and Handled the damages in the bedframe is an understatement. The actual salesman I delt with in the store was wonderfully polite. Elton presents himself as a genuine honest person and I guess to my Dismay I expected the same integrity in the manager. Not a mistake...
Read moreAfter spending 3 weeks visiting at least 15 different clearance furniture centers, I can confidently say Charter Furniture in Addison is the absolute best. While every other place had boring, cheap, or bland items with surprisingly high prices and limited selection, Charter delivers magazine-level furniture with real "wow factor" at prices lower than everyone else. The quality here rivals what you'd see in expensive designer showrooms, but at clearance prices that actually make sense. Make sure to explore the entire store thoroughly - the best discounted pieces are located toward the back, and their rental returns section has clearance prices that simply cannot be beat.
Jim took exceptional care of us throughout our three visits and demonstrates excellent sales skills with outstanding communication and a super friendly demeanor. He remembered us each time we returned and genuinely made the entire furniture shopping experience pleasant and enjoyable. Jim's knowledge of the inventory and his ability to understand exactly what we were looking for really impressed us. His professionalism and warmth created such a positive experience that I will always ask specifically for Jim every time I visit Charter Furniture.
This place is truly a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered by anyone seeking high-quality furniture at clearance prices. Charter specializes in furnishing expensive, visually stunning homes, and now you can get that same caliber of furniture at prices that won't break the bank.    Read moreRecently I posted a poor review for the Outlet store because my desk was delivered damaged and I had a hard time contacting anyone who could do something about the problem. Since then the employee who sold me the desk called and texted me a photo of a different desk I might want to exchange for mine. I declined and he offered to pick up my damaged desk, take it back to his shop, and repair the damage. He said he would redeliver at no additional cost to me. I appreciated his willingness to help and agreed to him repairing my desk. Shortly thereafter, I discovered that one of my employees was into furniture repair and had already fixed the damage so well I could not see it. I called Francisco and thanked him again for his willingness to help, but I no longer needed the repairs. I was impressed that Charter was concerned with my problem and offered to fix...
