Made Appliance Outlet — Local services in Addison

My husband and I spent $100k completely remodeling our kitchen a few months ago. We were looking for ways to cut costs and I found Made appliances. Tony and his brother Dave are the owners and the are very nice and helpful. We ended up going with all BRAND NEW, mind you, at around half the cost: a Thermadore gas range and oven, a Jenn Aire combo microwave and oven, a Jenn Aire wine fridge and the Thermadore Sapphire Glow dishwasher. We put a deposit down until we were ready for them and Tony happily stored them for us for a few months. Upon installation, we realized the amps on the Thermador oven and Jenn Aire Dual ovens were greater than what we currently had. So, for the Thermador oven, Tony exchanged it for one that was similar and that would work. A word of caution, CHECK the amps of new appliances if you're doing a remodel. Ha! Most of these new appliances have wifi and require greater amps. For the Jenn Aire, we were able to drop a new line with the correct amps to make it work. All of the appliances were brand new and they work beautifully after seven months of using them and no problems. You could not find nicer guys to work with. Tony will text you if you have questions or he is available by phone. He has A LOT of appliances and it was a pleasure working with him and Dave. I highly recommend Made Appliances. I was not sure initially if this was the direction we should go but Tony assured me he could store, deliver, install and that he'd stand behind his products. Which he did 100%. Also, he ships out of state as well, just FYI. I did not know Tony or Dave before our remodel and no money was received in exchange for writing this review. From the start Tony was professional and courteous. He makes the extra effort to answer any question you may have about the buying experience at an outlet store. Yes, it is always a risk not going to a big box store but Tony makes the experience easier by having a showroom where you can see what you're about to buy before you commit to it. I've had one other experience of buying at a Sear's outlet but Made Appliance's shop and business philosophy is night and day to what I experienced at Sears. Sears treated me like it is what it is, and I would imagine a lot of other big box outlets do the same. Tony's products are new or like new. I was very reluctant to buy something that had the "outlet" tag on it but after purchasing from Made Appliance I realized that I got the same product at a much lower price. I've had my kitchen appliances for five months now and every time I open my refrigerator I feel like a got a great deal. He gives you the same warranty as you get with new and you get to decide whether you want to buy it or not on the spot, live at his store. It's like getting the best price online AND you get to visit his store and see what you're getting before you buy it. Also, his appliance installation and repair staff is incredible. I think he has the best two guys I've ever met. One, I think is related to him and is as professional as they get. The other guy is like the Macgyver of appliance repair. Anyone who was around in the 80's will get that reference. Sorry millennial's, look him up. I bought an entire kitchen suite with Made Appliance. They also installed every piece. I happened on Made Appliances by accident in a desperate attempt to locate an oven and microwave so we could complete a kitchen remodel. It’s a familiar covid story, but we had ordered Kitchenaids in April from the huge furniture store in Frisco and each month we would find out delivery had been delayed another month - and that only when WE contacted them to get an update. By August our contractor was getting desperate to wrap up the job so we cancelled the order and went looking for something in stock. I couldn’t believe when I stopped into Made in a last ditch effort of a fruitless day that they had exactly what we were looking for at a great discount! David was fun to work with, very transparent, and we had a great experience with the delivery guys as well. Due to some electrical issues, we didn’t get things installed for about a month. At that point, we discovered that the microwave was missing the ring and glass tray. I texted David and he got it taken care of right away no questions asked. Sorry for the long review but bottom line is Made has great selection, great prices, and great customer service! Next time we need an appliance, Made will be our first stop instead...
