Adel Flowers and Gifts — Local services in Adel

I have used this flower shop a couple times and have been disappointed both times. Recently sent my wife a bouquet for Mother's Day. I ordered over the phone about 2 weeks ahead of time and asked that there be a good deal of yellow in the bouquet because her mother recently passed away and yellow was her favorite color. I ordered over the phone and was told that the flowers would be delivered in the morning probably early on because I opted for no vase. I had to call at 1pm on the delivery day to see if they were going to deliver soon because we had afternoon plans. The person who answered didn't have any idea and had to call me back. A different person called me back a few minutes later to tell me the flowers were being sent out right now. Unfortunately, because the flowers were sent much later than what we were initially told, we had to shift our afternoon plans around. The bouquet that arrived was pretty small for the price ($79) and didn't have much yellow in it like I requested. Also some of the flowers looked quite old and I doubt the bouquet lasts the week.

Then I get a text message from my own mother thanking me for the bouquet I sent her from a different florist near where she lived. This bouquet was half the price of the one I sent my wife, but looked fresher and was much larger, even though in this instance I opted for the vase, which would have cut into the amount of flowers they could put in for the price.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed, and I doubt I'll send anymore business here.

ETA: Added some photos from 4 days after the flowers were delivered. The flowers have been in water since they were delivered with a fresh cut. Several have already wilted and noticeable brown spots...

Ordered flowers and what I received was completely different than what was advertised online. Half of the flowers were wilted and half of them were missing. I called the store and the associate connected me to the owner who was extremely rude and refused to admit fault. When she reluctantly gave me a partial refund because of the poor quality she promptly hung up the phone on me without any apology. Terrible customer service, product and experience.
