I went in and looked at carpet (September 1st), took a few sample boards home, returned those the same day, set up appt for measure and pricing, ordered 2 sample pieces of the colors I wanted to see off the boards...moved quickly as I was wanting to get this done.
I was told that both colors I selected were in stock so it would be no problem getting them installed after I selected which of the two. I received the first one right away. I waited a couple of weeks to follow up on the 2nd color (September 26th)(this was the one I thought would be best). They (I won't mention names) said it was on backorder?? Waited another few weeks (mid-October) and followed up...they followed-up with Mohawk and it would ship soon.
November 16th, I reached back out to Archer (same individual) via email this time so I'd have in writing. I was told backorder is in progress and they were hoping it would be available to ship soon.
I called one last time in December as I was trying to suppprt a local business in my community and I was told by same individual that they didn't know what was going on with Mohawk???
Wow...no effort to call and find out....just said didn't know what was going with Mohawk...and I never heard back.
That was a COMPLETE BRUSH-OFF!!! RUDE!!!
At this point, I gave up and called another company (truly can't believe my patience lasted this long except have had some life issues that I was more focused on and time just kept going by quickly). I had the sample in 2 days!!!
Sooooo, what was really going on here...I have my suspicions??? If you didn't want my business, then you should have just said so. I didn't think a $4500 job was small???
Needless to say....the other company got my business (I SHOULD mention their name but if you, as a consumer, want to know hit me up on FB) for $500 less plus another area of steps being completed.
I did give a call back to the same individual on Wednesday December 6th to let them know I had ordered a sample with another flooring company and received it in 2 days. Also mentioned my disappointment in how this was handled, etc. I never heard a thing so......decided to give a review!!!
Very disappointed that I was brushed off as I was ready to spend money...makes me think of...
Read moreThe sales servis is wonderful. Dave was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The follow up however not so much. New dishwasher ordered over the phone on 1/2/20. It was received and installed very quickly. Unfortunately while it was being installed, the installer noticed that the machine was broken. Living 25 miles away it was just the plastic sprayer arm. The next day I drove there and back to exchange for one off of a floor model. My time, my gas. When I snaped the sprayer arm in it still didn't work. Called back, Explained that my brand new dishwasher still wasn't working. They scheduled their service person to come out and take a look but it wouldn't be until next week Because they only had one service person and he was extremely backed up. I said, fine. Following Monday service person arrived to take a look. Said yes, the motor to pump water out was bad. He would order the part but it probably wouldn't be in until the following week. Service guy said they would call me to let me know mid week to set something up. No phone call, I called them. Talked to Dave the sales guy. He said, that the part was on backorder, they would switch out with another on hand. Was wondering to myself why they didn't do that a week earlier, so that I wasn't sitting there with a brand new broken dishwasher for 2 weeks. Week number 3. Michael the service Tech did finally arrive and installed new motor, it was finally working. I called Dave back and said I was not happy about paying for a new Dishwasher that had multiple problems. Dave said he would talk the owner and perhaps they could give me an extended 4 year warranty. The following week I call back because I hadn't heard and Dave confirmed that the owner agreed to that. Called back again to see what the deal was? Dave said the warranty would be mailed to me. Still waiting as of 2/9/20. The Installation of the new dishwasher was on January 6th 2020. Nice folks, extremely poor follow up!!!! I will do a follow up review to see if they actually follow through with what...
Read moreAfter 21 years we were looking to replace our carpet. After much research we settled on a manufacturer and a type of carpet we wanted. So it came down to color options. Archer allowed us to take nice sized color samples home to help us decide. After deciding on a color, Greg came out to our home and measured the square yrds of carpet and pad to cover our floors. After we agreed to a price for the job, they worked with us on a day to schedule the work. Installer Scott arrived on time and went to work right away. He answered all of our questions. While the job took 2 days to complete he worked late on day 1 to be able to complete the job in 2 days. The work was impeccable. However after a couple weeks we noticed what looked like a very noticeable seam. So we called Greg at Archer to come take a look, he also had Scott come out to look at the line in our carpet. Scott said it's not a seam, but a flaw in the carpet. Greg then requested a warranty replacement through the manufacturer. Which was accepted, and was reordered with the same dye lot. We waited about 3 weeks for warranty and reorder. They again scheduled a replacement for our flawed carpet. Scott again pulled the flawed carpet and reinstalled the new unflawed carpet to our complete satisfaction. Archer has been great to work with and worked diligently to make sure we were happy with the results. Thank You Greg and Scott for your hard work and professionalism. I would recommend Archer Home Center to everyone interested in a home flooring project. They were a class outfit all through the process! If you are on the fence about going with Archer on a project, do it. They will do a great job for you and they stand behind their products and their...
