I have given La Fiesta great reviews in the past. However, the quality has steadily declined. We stopped going there but we thought we would try them again. Bad move. We ordered a chicken chimi and steak fajitas for pickup. We were told 30 minutes. I went in at 20 minutes to wait so I could get it still hot. It was already sitting on a table. When we got home it was cold and there were no tortillas for the fajitas. We put the fajitas on the chips and tried to use it as nachos. Some of the steak was very tough. We will not be back. Fiesta has moved to a new location (Big Al's old place). They have really done it right this time. I decided we would give them another try and I am so glad we did. The service was great and the food was fantastic. We have been back weekly as our go-to restaurant for great Mexican cuisine. The last time I was at Fiesta, I had superb food. It has been a while since I had their great fajitas so I tried it again. Maybe I just picked a bad night but I was VERY disappointed in the flavor and the included items. Something has changed and the another in our group agreed. The flavor was just blaa. For veggies it was almost entirely yellow peppers with a few onions. I expected green and red peppers and we have always had shredded lettuce and pico de gallo. Now we don't get beans and rice but rather one or the other. We will forgo the fajitas in the future and enjoy one of the other great dishes. As usual, the service was prompt and atmosphere...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place. The food looked great and the atmosphere was excellent. The waitress took WAY too long to return to our table for a party of 4. 3 people were drinking and I just had a water—none of us were approached for a refill the entire hour we were there. I was shocked by that since alcohol makes them money. But even my water was gone and no one came by to refill. Plus I thought it was odd that the drinkers weren’t automatically brought water. They did a good job of bringing out chips and salsa and look, I’m sure if we would have flagged them down for drinks it would have happened. But we shouldn’t have had to. Food came out; looked fantastic. Everyone got their food but me and the lady came back 3-5 mins later and said they were working on my food. They must have totally spaced it because it wasn’t brought out for another 15 minutes, creating awkwardness about if everyone else should start eating or not. Food came out and it was excellent until I found a long hair in the rice and about barfed it all back up. I didn’t even say anything, I just wanted to free up a seat since they were getting pretty busy. Like I said, I wanted to love it but they need to work...
Read moreWe've been frequent customers of the Adel Fiesta over the past few years. We very much like the friendliness and excellent service of management and staff. However, our last 2 visits have been a bit disappointing. On one visit on 2/16/2025, we weren't offered any drink refills, which is very different from past visits. Perhaps this was simply a fluke. Last evening, 2/17/2025, my husband tried a new dish from their new menu, the Caldo de Camaron. It was a soup containing shrimp, potatoes and carrots. The potatoes and carrots were rather tasteless as was the broth. The shrimp was quite labor intensive! It was still in the shell WITH the head, eyes and legs present. That required him to remove the shrimp from the broth and manually remove the shell, head, eyes and legs with his fingers before being able to eat the shrimp. No utensils were provided for this project. He found some of the shrimp to be mushy. It was a mess requiring multiple napkins to clean his hands!!! Customers should think twice before ordering this dish.
We will continue to visit Fiesta and sincerely hope to find our visits much more pleasant than...
