Plum Pudding is a ICON in the Aiken and surrounding area and been in business for 43 years. Michael provides personalized service and the items they offer are amazing. Shopping there brings back memories with my Mother and this store still provides a down home personal shopping experience. With a Pandemic that is happening in the world that has killed several of close relatives and friends, 1 who is in the hospital right now and me being at risk I am hesitate to shop at a lot of places. I am so thankful this store is taking it seriously and requires his employees and patrons to wear a mask. And who wouldn't want to buy some Liquor Ice Cream, An artisan ice cream company that Michael carries in his store PROOF is changing the way people think about dessert. Bourbon Caramel , Coconut Rum, to name a few they offer. This is an absolute gem in Aiken. I see negative reviews and can't help but to think this is an ad hominem attack about masks being required to shop there. But if you're looking for a review based in the stores quality and substance this is it. The selection variety and product is second to none and I find it extremely hard to believe that anyone could venture into this store and not find something that speaks directly to them. I'm happy to have a place in Aiken that cares for it's customers and employees. Any reviews that say otherwise are wrong and don't know what they are talking about. They make reasonable accomodations that are required of them for people that can't wear masks, which includes curbside service. Anyone who has actually read the ADA rules would actually know that a private business does not have to let you in if you can't wear a mask, they only have to provide curbside service, which is more than reasonable.
