Hi my name is Parinaz Serri and I am a regular at your aiken new moon store. We have been telling all our friends to go to your cafe for years we've lived here.

First and foremost I want to begin with this is not a new problem. Your employee Laura (blond manager up front usually on weekends) is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. When we first encountered a few years ago she was snappy and kept rambling on about how you guys dont want any more business (this was after i asked how come you guys close at 5). This behavior was consistent every time we came in. We eventually started avoiding your restaurant when we saw her working.

Today was the last straw. Its sunday 1:30pm we came in to grab a quick coffee. There was a line out the door. There were many people who were part of the evacuation who were there. Laura was running around yelling rudely saying things like "cant y'all read a damn sign, we've been closing for the past 20 yrs at 2 on sundays" "God damn" etc... at 1:50pm she closed and locked the door. Which is 10 mins before your closing time.

My husband was already inside in line. I came in to join him. She rushed past me pushed my stroller and slammed the door. She then proceeded to yell "ughhhhh we're closed. You all cant just come in here as you please"

She was clearly yelling at me and my baby daughter considering we were the only ones who entered.

I turned to her and told her my husband is in line. She huffed and walked off. It continued. She rambled more and yelled at people who were just looking in through the door.

When we approached the cash register i asked for the owners info and she told me to go on Facebook. I told her she was rude and she yelled back at me. Telling me she worked there for 9 years and that the owner is her best friend and will always back her up. Your other employees were embarrassed and and gave us an apologetic look. She then said "you all are regulars why dont you know we close at 2:00pm.

Many of our friend have had similar experiences with the same employee and stopped going to your restaurant.

We will never come to your establishment again.

Evacuees were talking about how rude she was and they were in shock that a restaurant in such a humble town is like this.

You are welcome to ask your other employees. I am sure they will vouch for the series of events in this...

I haven't eaten here. However several people have informed me that the food is good . The art drawing teacher from Aiken Senior life services has some of my art paintings displayed there He says lots of people buy art there So I pray that my art gets sold I pray that the Lord blesses all of my education ,hard work history, and investments with a variety of online school programs to, improve everything I've achieved for decades. The staff here seems nice . I've been here a few times since I moved to Aiken SC the year of 2023.I studied art paintings techniques and courses online school programs with, Stratford career institute in St Albans Vermont. Our experience was okay. It's a fun atmosphere, staff are friendly, and the food and coffee was good. But it wasn't great. It took us about 30 minutes to get our meals (soup and sandwiches). The soup (crab bisque) was okay, but it has an interesting consistency...kind of like a soup that you make in advance and then heat up, and it end up tasting different and thicker than it should be. The sandwiches were good. The bread was toasty and soft at the same time, a good combo, but I wouldn't say there was anything special about it. My husband loved the coffee, so that was probably the highlight!

The place could probably use a good cleaning as well, but sometimes it's also hard to tell if a place is just old and has that unclean feel just because it's old and has chipped paint and all of that. We are here from out of town, so it's not something we will be dreaming about or planning to return to eat again, but it wasn't a...

The location is cozy, the staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and kind, and the drinks are fantastic! I have had quite a few dirty chai lattes, and I can say New Moon's is the best by far. Sweet, loaded with spices and so smooth. They offer a great selection of delicious little delicacies, sweet treats and beverages that look appetizing and taste absolutely scrumptious and the space itself is eclectic and charming. The staff members are incredibly friendly and delightful. I can't wait to go back again, and again and again. The t-shirts are cozy too. 10/10 experience, New Moon is the place to go

Cute. I love the vibe. I love that it’s local. Staff was friendly. Service was backed up which made caused my food to come out much faster than my drink. I ordered the jammy goat cheese toast— I thought it was one slice and was pleasantly surprised it was two. So much that I shared with a stranger. Huge portions! I might recommend one slice and possibly a side salad or fruit. My hot vanilla latte was great. I was able to get an outside table and I so enjoyed the outdoor experience of visiting with strangers discussing books. The inside could use a deep cleaning!
