I have never left a review on the internet, but my experience made me upset enough to. If you are renting Tuxedos for a wedding, do your homework and figure out an alternative. Your groomsmen will all thank you. The first time I was there I put my name on a waiting list. They helped other people first that came in after me. I left and went to Macy's to rent my tuxedos instead. After selecting and sizing with some helpful employee, I found out Macy's is handing over all of its tuxedo rental business to Men's Warehouse as of 6/1/17. They could not transfer me into their system. I was forced to go back to Men's Warehouse at a later day, when it was much less busy. I had all my sizing and the names of all groomsmen, as well as my tux selection made and written down on the exact same paperwork Men's Warehouse uses, but from Macy's. The process of entering my information into their "system" took 40 minutes. The computer must be from 1994, it actually looks like it is. Their tablet device was not working properly either. The printer also did not work. The employees made jokes about other customers, and were unprofessional in general. When I told them I had previously waited in their store for over 30 minutes to be helped, eventually just leaving, they thought that it was funny. Against good judgement, I still ended up renting the tuxedos because of time constraints. The process of renting tuxedos should be service based. I brought over $1600 worth of business. You would think that they would be treating me like it, instead I felt like I was inconveniencing them. The tuxedos are overpriced to begin with. The entire experience made me never want to go there again. I came home and did some research. Men's Warehouse has 87% gross margins on their tux rental business. It sounds like they need a...
Read moreWent into the chapel hill location to get a specific jacket on order that they did not have available online. They ordered me the jacket after measurement, they received it in a week later and left me a voicemail to let me know it has arrived. I promptly returned their call and informed them that I would be in on November 12th at noon to pick up the jacket due to being so busy at work they informed me it would not be a problem. I showed up at the promised time and date and the gentleman working there failed to find my jacket and told me it had been sold out from under me "because it wasn't paid for" I didn't pay any money on it because I wasn't told I had to and we wearnt sure how the fit was going to be. I work in retail so I understood the situation and was upset but told them to re order and I would pay as soon as it came back in. Today (11/22) at 10:30am I called to check on my order and was told it wasnt there and the individual on the phone told me they ended up not being able to get another one from other stores or the warehouse but I could order online. At this time I was in shock because they didn't take the time to call me to let me know the jacket for my wedding they sold out from under me wasn't available and I was on my own getting another one. I checked online and saw it wasn't available, I then called the Montrose location and was told the jacket would never be available again. So to put it shortly there is apparently no communication between crew members and/or customers and it cost me alot of time and energry and a vital part of my wedding I was really looking forward too and sadly they did literally nothing to...
Read moreToday my boyfriend and I went to this location despite the 2.5 ⭐ rating to give this store a chance.
Worst choice EVER!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS LOCATION!!
We went to get a suite for a father/daughter dance. Upon arriving we were not greeted. My boyfriend was able to dress himself and find everything on his own since not one of the four workers offered assistance to us. At one point my boyfriend found someone to ask about the length of the suite pants and how to get them tailored, the worker instantly seemed annoyed by his questions, which was offsetting. Once we had the suite jacket, suite pants, dress shirt, tie and shoes we had to track down someone for pricing. There were no specials or promos for getting the suite combo. Once we were able to find someone working they told us the total was over $700 which the interaction made us feel like we were being judged. The whole situation put a bad taste in our mouths. We both decided that the way we were treated was not worth the money. We went back to the changing room to leave complaining that there was no assistance. The manager then proceeded to ask if we had a problem and as soon as boyfriend began explaining the situation and how rude the two previous workers were she stormed off while he was in mid sentence.
Don't waste your time - go to another location or better yet a whole another store that sells suites!!!
You Men's Warehouse need to...
