We arrived for a late dinner around 9:25 assuming they would be open until at least 11:00pm, especially since they have such a nice large bar area. There wasn't a wait so we were seated right away and it was never mentioned to us that they were closing in 35 minutes. Thinking we had more time to just enjoy our night out, simply spending time away from the stresses of life and enjoying just being in such a nice (fancy to us) atmosphere we spent a little longer contemplating what each of us were going to order. After about 10 minutes we received our drinks and I happened to look over and see the bartender talking to another employee about how we still had to order and so on. I then asked my husband to find out if they were closing soon so by the time we did it was already 25 minutes till closing. It was pretty much just a stressful event from that point on. I could tell they were trying to rush us out of there. We both hurriedly placed our food orders, I even ordered a to go box when I placed my order. My husbands mixed drink was gone about halfway through our dining experience and nobody offered to give him a refill, our bread was gone and not replenished about 10 minutes after sitting down and although I mentioned to the waitress how delicious the desserts all looked and told her that's what I was really looking forward to trying, we were never offered desserts after his filet steak dinner and my pork/pineapple medallion dinner arrived. I guess it's our fault for receiving such rushed service and being hurried out the door because everyone wanted to go home at 10pm but idk, ($100 on our meals, drinks and the tip is a lot for us) so maybe they shouldn't accept new dine in customers after a certain time and/or there should be some sort of notice to let people know they only have x amount of time before you're just treated like a burden for being there spending so much money and still tipping great although we were rushed, not given refills on drinks, no bread refills and no mention of dessert I expressed interest...
Read moreYesterday for the third time I went to eat out with my son and granddaughter at Outback. It was a promise he kept to her for good behavior. The first time we went as a family it was crowded but the food and service was exemplary. The second time eating there it was also crowded so there of course was a wait which was understandable. However, the seating was right behind the check-in station where items were placed over us with the potential of falling onto us with any slight mishap (OKAY)! After awhile we were informed and apologize to for the overly long wait for our food due to being short on cooks. We eventually got our food; it didn’t compare to our first dining experience at all! So I surmised one more time for Outback and that was yesterday. It was not very crowded at all; so far so good. Server was fine but when I got my “Bloomin fried chicken sandwich I didn’t have the tomato on it as advertised. So after it was clarified that it did come with a tomato our waitress went back to get me a tomato. However, she was told they were out of slice tomatoes but I could the small grape tomatoes sliced. I told her that was alright. The kitchen should have informed the waitress what the problem was before sending my sandwich out without a tomato. Another issue was the quality of the lettuce on my sandwich and on the one my son ordered. It looked like the kitchen was trying to make do with the ends of a lettuce head ( light green, small shreds) for our sandwiches. It would have been nice to have a rich green leafy piece of lettuce on our sandwiches! I told my son I didn’t have to eat at outback again like forever on Howe road. I pray management reads this and make some changes. When a business knows they are short on help and you are running over with customers just be upfront with people on the front end before you seat them. You are ruining...
Read moreI used to come here once or twice a month. After last night I'll never be back. My last 3 visits have been horrible. ESPECIALLY THE SERVICE. One visit the told me the bar was closed when I asked to sit there but then went on to sit 3 other ppl at the bar while I'm still waiting to be seated. The next visit.. it took 30 mins just to get drinks. We had bread before drinks. Our appetizers never came. We had our food then they asked if we still wanted our appetizers. My drink sat at the bar unsupervised. I eventually had to go to the bar myself to get my drink. The server saw me and came over to say, I was going to bring it when I got time. Yesterday we called to be put on the wait list. I was hung up on the 1st time I called after stating the number in my party. When I called back, I was told they don't take wait list requests for parties of more than 6. Even though it literally says otherwise on the website. We were told it would be a few minutes wait. 40 minutes later we were still waiting. When we asked the server about how long we would be waiting, she said "I told you to come at a different time or you would have to wait 30 or 40 minutes". That's literally not what she said. There were tables already together where no one was sitting that would have accommodated us but we were told we could not sit there. When i asked to speak to the manager. The manager was rude as well saying " we told you to come at a different time. You can wait for one of those two large parties to be done or or I can sit you there (the tables that were already together) but don't expect good service. Ultimately I didn't feel comfortable or trust that our food would not be tampered with and the terrible customer service lead us to leave and go to Olive Garden. Where we waited 5 mins to be seated and had great service from start to finish.
I'll never return to...
