Absolute horrible customer service experienced on 9 December @ approximately 230pm(check your cameras, I'm the brown man w/long hair). I literally couldn't even get acknowledged while clearly standing in the "parts line" and even being "next". So after standing there like a fool(again, not even acknowledged). I walked out. Employees couldn't have cared less. Place wasn't busy. One guy was just chatting it up with a customer(than helped another customer that basically cut in front of me at the register) and the other employee couldn't be bothered while on the phone(even took another call with no word to me as clearly I was an actual customer standing in the store). I went down the street for my part and received at least a shread of customer service for my money and time. Though they assumed I couldn't be a retired military officer(didn't ask like they did an older white gentleman). I get that a lot. Moving back to my home town has been... interesting, so far. NOT my first choice for auto parts or helpful customer service in Alamogordo based on my current experience.
*treat ALL your customers with the same dignity. Our money spends exactly the same
Update: I checked my time stamp during my visit. I stood there for 5 minutes without even being...
Read moreIt's interesting which CDC guidelines AutoZone wants to follow because some of the staff were NOT wearing masks and were LESS than 6 feet close to customers.
I usually give positive reviews but I am appalled by the service I received today. I didn't have the same experience. I went there today because my "service engine soon" light came on. I am here providing healthcare from TX and don't have family here so I went alone. I was referred to them by someone on the military base (I will be letting them know never to refer here anymore). I asked them to do a diagnostic with the machine that plugs into the car. They gave me the machine and expected me to do my own diagnostic. Seriously????? If I knew how to do it, why would I be there? They said it is a company policy that they are unable to go in the car for any reason. I hope they never go to a doctor and need a procedure only to be given the instruments, then told to do the procedure themselves! I highly recommend O'Reilly's down the street. I had amazing service at O'Reilly's. Everyone was very nice and professional....and guess what? They were able to do their job and perform...
Read moreGood people, but as a commercial account I can not recommend this store, I am a mobile mechanic and relying on refunds core and accountability is important as I don't have one store I go to. It's Saturday and was told they did not have $40.00 in the drawer for my core charge and do not carry cash in a commercial drawer on Saturdays and Sundays and would not have cash in the drawer till Monday. I watched a guy get over $100.00 bucks in cash back on refund in front of me. And was told well if you were dyi. You could get a core back, guess our money is not worth preparing for. It's a constant problem if your lucky you will have a person that knows how to do it from a dyi drawer. Our business relyes on who you scheduled for that day and if there properly trained...this is nonsense and disruptive to businesses. A store that does not have 40.00 bucks for businesses spending thousands a day is insane and...
