Alamogordo Historic Downtown — Attraction in Alamogordo

Unfortunately disappointing. We arrived in late afternoon of 19th and the streets were blocked for repair. There were signs explaining that businesses were open but we did not see any besides a pool hall that had no customers. I did not see a single person in a 4 block area. I expected to find local restaurants or bars or something but...

Food was good and worth the wait but its kinda confusing if it's your first time. There is no window to order and after they come to you and take your order its not clear how they keep track of you or if they even put in your order but somehow they got it all right and didn't...

It's a bit underwhelming. It's technically there but fairly deserted, unoccupied buildings, inactive. A few open businesses. It still deserves a look for the few historical structures. Maybe a work...
