Was impressed with the new ball field my niece's T-ball team were playing on. The area was right by the play ground so my older niece was able to go play with other siblings of team members safely. We were able to look left and immediately see her. I felt it was not only safer for the children I know that play there, during a game or even just going to the playground to play, but is safer for all the children who visit there to play!๐๐๐ Nothing like how fare the playground area used to be from the old ballfields. And they almost always had quite a few kids ranging In different ages(five/six to maybe at oldest seven/eight) and sometimes no adults at all. I just always thought that was very dangerous, or at least had the possibility to be. So I'd give the safety improvement two thumbs way way up!
Around the bleachers was clean. I didn't see any garbage laying around them anywhere or the area where the walkways are. I was almost as impressed with it as I was when I went swimming as a guest at the indoor swimming pool. Only thing I didn't like was the fifteen dollars a person, without a membership, for access to it. I thought that was a little over priced, but I would almost consider paying it.honestly though, if I were to use the pool often like a few to several times a month, I would just go ahead and get a membership, And with it access to all of the 'pool' areas. Because I'd be spend 30$ if I went two times.. so it just makes more sense to me๐ To be honest, I think Albertville/people who designed it/people who brought it to life did an amazing job with the Albertville rec center / Albertville resort they all really out did themselves. I'm very impressed.
Well seems to be a two for one with this review today folks.๐ Hope someone finds this useful.

ย ย ย Read moreLove the facility and area. We come and play baseball tournaments here few times a year. My only recommendation is to fix the lights on ball fields. The led lights are too low and point directly into the fields making it nearly impossible to see a baseball. If you have ever stared into a headlight car with led lights that is what it is like trying to catch fly ball. I seen 4 different teams play tonight's games as well as past games where outfielders complain about not being able to see ball. Please fix!
A day later of looking at led light installation on ball fields and the lights are not installed in correct location per led lights for ball fields. Lights should be installed behind infield and in right field and left field for a better indirect lighting. The location in Albertville lights are at the corners of left and right field and on the third base and first base side withing the infield area causing lights to be directly in view of fields rather...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is actually a really nice sports complex and very well maintained.. multiple fields for games... when there are multiple games going on at the same time parking can be a huge issue despite several parking spots... one thing that is weird and i didnt much care for was the football field. Instead of having one side for visitors and one side as the home team you all sit on one side which can cause issues for fans finding a place to sit..if another game is going on before your game you have to wait until those fans leave and then rush and find a place to sit..never seen anything like it.. maybe they didnt have enough room for another side.. anyway it was a...
