We did a mobile order, and didnāt complete it until we were at the restaurant. Reason being is I wanted my food fresh. It was far from fresh. The breakfast burrito tortilla was hard and stale. The hot dogs were not cooked thoroughly and fries were stale. I decide since nothing was even edible I would call and try to get a redo. I was told by the manager that it was impossible. That they steam the tortillas, they pull the hotdog fresh of the grill, and the fries are made to order.
To the so call manager I spoke to. No maāam. I could easily bring you my food. I live not five minutes from you. There wasnāt even time for fresh food to become inedible. Donāt sit there and defend your lazy service if your not prepared for a rebuttal. Iām not looking for free food. Iām not looking to eat for free! That was rude and uncalled for. I paid with my hard earned money I expect food that is fresh and good from a group of people who claim they want to make $15+ and hour. This was not a professional service that was provided to me this was pure attitude. Iāve done my fair share in fast food, you treat others food as you would your own. Iām beyond taken back simply by the attitude that was give to me. I know I didnāt have one to start. I stated my concern, Iām too sick to sound mad, and had just woke up so I was groggy. The attitude was very uncalled for. Itās a same that this sonic has unprofessional managers in its establishment. If I were everyone else Iād just truck my happy butt to the Boaz location. Iāve never had an issue with their food nor service. Always hot, always fresh, and always friendly. Itās not about speed itās about quality.
Do yourself a favor if you want to eat sonic and go to the Boaz location. The Albertville location just isnāt with it. Itās a lazy group of people always...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI accidentally placed a mobile order while I was at work after adding a payment method, so I immediately called and said I didnāt mean to place it and asked for it to be cancelled and refunded. The woman on the phone told me they canāt do refunds and to call the corporate number. I did, I was on the phone with corporate for 30+ minutes and they couldnāt find my account for whatever reason, so they couldnāt refund me. I got off work a couple hours later and came by and explained I had accidentally placed the order earlier but couldnāt get refunded, so I asked to show them my receipt so I could receive the order. Reggie said he was able to pull it up himself and have it made, he came outside after 5-10 minutes of me waiting to show me the receipts, said nothing about them being for refunds, and went back inside. Almost a full hour passes and I press the button again to ask when itāll be ready and Iām told itāll be out shortly. Then comes another carhop and who Iām assuming is a manager and the guy approaches me all hostile with ādidnāt you call and cancel the order like 2 hours ago?ā I explain the situation to him again and the woman cuts me off and says the order was refunded despite, who Iām assuming was her, on the phone telling me she couldnāt do that. They start going on about the refund and saying they can bring the receipt to prove it and go off to get it before I can say anything.
Very incompetent workers and they could use an attitude check. Not sure how the communication got so messed up but I wouldāve appreciated it if I was told I wasnāt getting my food before I waited there an hour after work. They need to be more like Reggie, heās the only one who was kind and respectful despite whatever confusion...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience. We werenāt on a time crunch, so we waited 20 minutes before pressing the order button and to ask why the screen didnāt ask us to pay. They said theyād ask us to pay when they came out with our food. Okay. 20 MORE minutes later we press the button again, wait 5 minutes before someone even speaks to us, and then ask about our order. The lady asked us what we ordered. We got through our whole order and she said nothing so we asked if our order was even taken. She condescendingly told us I that she didnāt have that order (also implied we never orderedādidnāt think I would be gaslighted in a drive through today), did not apologize, and so graciously allowed us to put in our order again. No explanation, no offer to hurry, no offer to comp anything. To be clear, I would never expect a discountāI just expected some form of apology! We had somewhere to be eventually so now I am waiting in my car, going to be late for my plans, because someone took my order and didnāt even print the ticket. Update: no apology and they forgot the syrup for my French...
