I needed a few different pieces to replace old furniture for a redecoration of sorts and stumbled upon Welcome Furniture. It all started with desire to get a new dining room table. I wanted something made out of real wood but a lot of the stores do not have decent selection. I was left with mostly very dark woods, apparently the "in" thing nowadays, and uncomfortable chairs. Welcome Furniture solved this issue in spades. You can get your table in a variety of different shapes, sizes, woods and stains. There is also a large selection of chairs to choose from.

With so many choices, I recommend planning to be there for a few hours if you want to pick something out. I also recommend going during a sunny day so you can see the woods and stains in the daylight that comes through their skylight.

I worked with Wes, the co-owner, who was very helpful. He's obviously ultimately there to sell you his wares but in a nice and non-pushy way. A couple times he definitely went out of his way to point out useful angles and even gently questioned my thinking. Though it wasn't to shift me away from something cheap and get me to buy a bigger ticket item. It was evident he wanted me to go away happy with my purchase(s).

I had planned to buy a few more things in addition to the table but not necessarily at Welcome Furniture. Yet after deciding on the table I ended up buying 4 more items. Their furniture is by no means cheap but you get what you pay for. The quality of the craftsmanship is evident in the store and I was very pleased once the items were delivered (most of the items were built and not bought directly off the floor). Each piece really adds something to the room. Together they have transformed my home.

We purchased two coffee tables and the sales date was around 5/12/2020. There were/are issues with the quality! This looks to be apprentice to mid-level vs “heirloom / extraordinary craftsmanship” as they claim. I only saw one bad google review about the quality out of 49 reviews so I figured it must have been an outlier. Nope!

We paid $2,040.82 for the two and would have been better off buying stock coffee tables from another store. If they want to give me a 50% refund it might make the price in line with the quality.

Issues Crooked table top when opened/lifted There are broken off screws There are screws not completely screwed in There are 7 pocket holes vs 3 used on the other side of the lower shelf

They took the tables back to fix and they didn't put a rush on it at all. We already waited weeks for the poor craftsmanship and had to wait weeks again for them to correct their mistakes. I needed to reach out to get a status update.

They told me everything was fixed except the crooked lift top. They said it was a faulty lift top mechanism. They said they moved the top to the other table and it was still crooked. I guess I am more of a master Amish craftsman's then they are because I was able to straighten the lifted table top by repositioning the lift top mechanism straight vs crooked as you can see in the photo where it is attached to the inside. My husband and I recently received our 2 new chairs with ottomans that we ordered from Welcome Furniture. They are so comfortable and we are very happy with them. We have been purchasing our furniture from Welcome Furniture for many, many years...since way before they moved to their current location. We have never been disappointed! Because we have down-sized from our house to a condominium, our son and daughter-in-law have many of our pieces that no longer fit in our current home. Welcome Furniture's quality built furniture lasts forever and because it is so beautiful, it remains loved by those that are of a different generation. It is quite fun to purchase a new piece of furniture for yourself from Welcome Furniture, but now my husband and I realize that everything we have purchased from them has also been a gift for our adult children. They will end up with everything of ours that they want, and they definitely want our Welcome Furniture. The one other great thing about Welcome Furniture is that their customer service is the same quality as their furniture, which is 5 stars...
