Five Guys — Restaurant in Albertville

This was our first time trying this restaurant...and our last. The food was honestly disgusting and I was shocked by the prices that they get away with charging. I got a veggie sandwich that can that consisted of all old soggy lettuce and mushy tomatoes....for $5 (not a burger patty) and didnt include a side or drink. 😒😳👎

We ordered on the app and were crunched for time that day so it was a bit frustrating that the app notified us that his food was ready and my son still ended up standing inside for 15+ minutes waiting to get it. We even ordered it 10 minutes prior. Once he finally got it the employee remarked that the french fries were cold 😆🤦‍♀️ and offered to get him fresh ones. That took another 5 mins but at least we knew and received fresh food. I would rate as a zero if I could. I made an order online on Jan 1. Around 6:15 pm. I drove 20 minutes from Elk Roger and when I went to pick it up the door was locked. I had to call the store and the manager (I suppose he was) came out and told me they had closed at 6 pm due to the holiday and asked me to write down my info so he can send me a gift card. I had already paid online. I told him to forget about it and I wasn’t interested and handed him back the pen and post it notes. I started to walk of and suggested that the store updates their website. The manager then told me “I need to know to treat people”. No apology or phone call prior to picking it up to say they were closed. I turned around and looked at him like he was crazy then he flipped me the bird and walked in. Called the customer care number and am still waiting for someone to call me back a day later. Guess I never will hear...

Very excited about the fact that I could eat at this restaurant considering I am gluten free. They offer a cheeseburger with lettuce wrap or in a bowl. I caution women to not order the cheeseburger, order the little cheeseburger. The cheeseburger has two burgers which is a lot of food. The little fries, which is a small fry, I would compare to a large fry at other places. They are fresh cut so if you like McDonald's fries you won't like these fries. I thought they were delicious. The only reason I gave this restaurant a three star rating is because of the cleanliness. Tables were never wiped off, the restaurant was a mess and the garbages were overflowing. However, the staff was very friendly and patient in the ordering process for those of us who have never been there before.
