We tried out Aji when they opened. It did not disappoint. I got the Black Garlic Ramen. The broth was very tasty and flavorful. The noodles were substantial and had a great bounce and texture to them. The chashu pork was almost all meat and was seared giving it extra dimension to the flavor. The fish cakes were thick and you could actually taste them, very nice. The bamboo was soft and perfectly chewable, not tough and stringing like I've had before. I did ask for and added some chili oil to mine and their oil is very good. We only tried the ramen, but saw some of the other patrons ordered some very fresh looking and beautiful sushi. I will say this ramen made me full like no other I've had. I usually get an appetizer when I go to other places, but for me, none was needed here.
