In June of last year, my mother passed away. It was all too quick and unexpected, and I was not prepared in any way. Neither was she, as she had not updated her will in over 14 years. Her trust was complicated, and at the recommendation of our family’s wealth management advisor, I reached out to Curtis Vernon at Lighthouse Law.

At my first meeting with Curtis, I knew fully that I was in the right hands. His professionalism is mixed with an extreme amount of kindness. He was diligent in going over all the stuff I did not understand, and thus we began the not-so-fun task of taking care of all the matters which needed to be addressed.

We got it all taken care of in a good amount of time, and through it all he was easy to reach and alway listened and always had the answers. My life was made easier, during this hard time in my life, by having Curtis as my attorney. I’m so grateful for him.

I’ll add that I am currently the co-trustee of another estate in California. We ended up with not the best lawyer and are having to begin all over again. It’s what I learned from Curtis, where I knew to raise red flags. Made me wish he had a practice there! But New Mexico is lucky to have this man right here. I’m lucky for sure. I cannot recommend Lighthouse Law highly enough.
