Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I dont normally write these, but I was so disappointed with the service and food quality, I order a number 59 two fajita tacos on flour tortillas, ive always ask to get my beef diced this manager lady would not dice the beef, so i switch to order street tacos because the beef is diced but they come on corn tortillas, which i ask if i can switch to flour tortillas again the manager who is hiding behind the wall refuses to switch the tortillas from corn to flour?? Ive been eating Taco Cabana for a very long time and there has never been an issue with taking an extra minute to dice up beef! She was the most rudest manager ive ever dealt with! I myself am in customer service, (I work at a cell phone company the biggest one) so to not oblige your customer was very disrespectful and i will never go to this Cabana again, besides that when i got back to work to eat my lunch the meat was really old and not edible at all, my daughter ordered street tacos plain no cilantro or onions and they still put cilantro after we we asked them 3 times not to do! I can throw money away for food but everything is so expensive now it sucks having to go thru this for a decent meal! They offer a build your own flour tacos they could have served me that with diced beef, i just truly dont understand why that Lady manager would not take care of me the customer??? Now the customer is not always right but in this instance I was well in the right to request something done a lil different, because i prefer it that way??? I took some pictures of the food i was given besides the point of not getting what i wanted and its sad! Sad because theres no pride in whats served anymore!! My favorite question is would you the worker eat this old not edible tough beef when you sit down for your break? And no they most likely would not……So why would you serve it to your customers the people that make sure you have a job!!!! Without me the customer this place would close up! So thank you manager lady for saving me the trouble of ever eating at this taco cabana on San mateo ever again! Ill drive to montgomery where its not an issue to dice my beef up for my two lil flour tortilla tacos! Ive enclosed to the two pictures of my sad sad not...

Taco Cabana! Is agreat restaurant to have, breakfast, lunch and dinner choices! Manager and employees are friendly and helpful with a smile on their face! I came from San Antonio area in 1999 and I left Taco Cabana memories behind. My friend one day asked me what would like for lunch? I told him a trip to my favorite restaurant from San Antonio, TX area. But not knowing Taco Cabana was here. My friend asked what did I like to eat from Taco Cabana for lunch? I gave him my favorite meals on a piece of paper. He said close your eyes and let's get lunch. I promised not to open my eyes until we got to restaurant for lunch. Arriving at Taco Cabana on San Mateo my friend led me by my arm in a building and sat me down. I can hear music on intercom. I can smell fresh tortillas being made women working, laughing and yelling out order numbers I knew I was in a restaurant. My friend ordered my fav food and asked me if I knew where we were at? In tears I said the noise, smells were to good to be my Taco Cabana restaurant. Friend left me at the table upon his return I told him that he made me remember the restaurant. But in Albuquerque I never knew Taco Cabana would be here in the desert lol. When I opened my 👀 my past experience was where I was at TACO CABANA! What a surprise. I spoke to Susan, Manager, and I told her my story and I was going to go there to eat a meal there. I'm blind and paralyzed but my friend and I go to Taco Cabana 4 times a week 😋. Thank you Taco Cabana store in the Albuquerque area. Text M!ex food is great food from Taco...

First I didn't know what I wanted to eat.. I actually went to Arby's. I was in the Drive-Thru for about 10 minutes with no response from the employee's. When 1 was actually smoking a cigarette out back w the door open... It was dusk.. right before the time change. There was one car in the Drive-Thru at the window. We go pull threw drive thru.. We actually parked and went inside because I wanted Arby's. .. watching the one employee wearing a headset walk right by us no greeting nothing ignored us... For another 10 minutes we looked at the menu again and stood by the counter

The employee in the back that was preparing food looked at me looked at my brother as she was looking out into the lobby multiple times and shook her head no.. looking at us like she was a deer in the headlights to the point that we both saw it... At different times.

Well we were not going back to that location.

Smart guy my brother honorable man my brother. First thing comes out of his mouth leaving Arby's we're going to Taco Cabana baby. Pulled up in the first Drive-Thru Lane. Another vehicle pulled up in the second lane both of our orders were taken at the same time

one of your employees took their meal outside to their vehicle while the other one was passing our food in the window. Beautiful smiles on incredible people. You're just not another restaurant .. you're love and passion for the quality food and service y'all should be a Michelin 5 ⭐. You definitely have repeat customers in US.. Idk names... Y'all are...
