While this isn't a direct reflection of this specific game stop, I do want to tell you that the Insurance is a scam. When I first purchased a Nintendo switch lite last year I got the insurance as I was told that if something happened I would be able to come back in and get a replacement right then and there if they had them. This included new systems at the time of purchase. However this last year in November GameStop made the decision to no longer include new systems to replace the insured system. The options are to, one turn in the faulty unit and have them ship a refurbished unit to my house. Two get a refurbished or used system from the store. However in all of Albuquerque there were only three refurbished and only one used all of which i would have to drive 30+ minutes and only the used one was the color that I had. They have even gone as far as sell me games that I have reserved without actually putting my reservation money towards it. Then when you go to ask about your reserves, they lie to you and claim you don’t have any old reserves that they never call you about so they don’t take the cancel. They never answer their phone either. I’ve tried to call them several times about a reservation and they never pick up the phone. So even when you make the effort to pick up a reserve they still don’t make the effort to connect. This dishonesty and laziness is part of the reason this company is tanking. Read moreMy husband and I went to this location. We were in a bit of a bad situation. We bought our 2 boy's the Nintendo Switch for Christmas last year. We also bought the one year warranty for it. Well as it happens the joystics on the controller's stopped working properly. Now mind you we bought this for Christmas in 2017 . Fast forward to present day. I look at my reciept and notice i bought it in November of 2017. So I think I'm done. There is no way for me to fix the broken remotes. Actually there is a extremely nice and very polite man by the name of Larry at the Coors and Central location in Albuquerque, NM. He was so helpful and so nice.
