5 Stars, Truly Exceptional Massage Experience
Ting’s Wellness Massage in Albuquerque is an absolute gem, and easily one of the best massage experiences in the area. I recently returned for my second 60-minute therapeutic massage, and once again, the service was nothing short of outstanding. After trying a different location for comparison, I can confidently say that Ting’s offers a five-star experience that’s worth every penny.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was met with attentive staff and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Despite being the final appointment on a Sunday evening, they greeted me with warmth, provided water, and allowed me the time and space to settle in without any rush. The clean and relaxing environment immediately set the tone for what would be another restorative session.
The massage itself reflected a deep level of professional care and personalized attention. Rather than relying on forceful techniques, the experienced therapist focused on the strategic application of pressure to key pressure points, creating an immediate sense of tension release and calm. It was clear that their highly skilled approach emphasized both effectiveness and mindfulness.
What really sets Ting’s apart is its holistic approach to healing touch. Each movement felt intentional, as if the therapist was attuned to the mind-body connection, creating space for deep relaxation and stress relief. Both visits were consistently excellent, and I felt lighter, physically and mentally, each time I left.
Ting’s Wellness Massage is more than just a massage spot, it’s a self-care essential and a place for true muscle recovery. I’ll absolutely continue returning and highly recommend it to anyone in search of a top-rated spa that understands how to deliver...
Read moreI’ve been going to Ting’s for a few years, and I’d always seen Annie. She’s pretty good. On New Year’s Eve, I decided to start the New Year out with a relaxing massage, because I was a little tense. I went after work on NYE, but had to book with Ting, because Annie was on vacation. I booked a Swedish massage for an hour and a half. She was distracted, and at one point, jerked my arm up sharply, and there was a snap. I winced, but thought maybe it was just my shoulder popping. When she was done, I was feeling a sharp pain and asked her if I should use ice, or warmth. She said both would be fine. I went home and the pain got worse and worse. I rang in the New Year, laid up in the couch with ice packs on my shoulder. I couldn’t sleep, the pain was so bad and ibuprofen barely touched it. At 5 am I emailed her and told her I was in horrible pain. She wrote back and apologized and admitted she’d felt a big pop in my shoulder, but it was “normal”. By mid morning, New Year’s Day, I couldn’t take it anymore and went to the ER. They did an MRI and determined that I now had a torn rotator cuff. I let Ting know, and requested she pay my copay of $250 for the ER. She refused and backtracked, saying there was no way it was her and brushed it off. I was on strong pain pills for a few days, now I have to go see an orthopedic surgeon and meet with a physical therapist. I went to Ting’s because of the cheap rates, but learned my lesson. If I had not been cheap and had gone to a better place, I would have ended up saving...
Read moreI have been being treated regularly for pain relief and general joint issues at Ting's for over two years now. This is my first review of the business. I originally looked at massage as simply something done for an occasional relaxing self-care treat. I have come to realize that if done properly, and regularly, massage can be a very beneficial form of health care. It has become that for me. There are three therapists who work at Ting's and I rotate through all of them. This is because, not surprisingly, I have found them to have slight differences in how they approach my treatments. All three are exceptionally good therapists. All three are very attentive listeners. I can explain to them whatever I may have going on and they are able to focus some extra attention to that area. They are consistently professional, courteous and friendly. I have given gift certificates to female friends and family who do not have the joint issues that I do. One enjoyed pre-natal massages here during their pregnancy. They have also become fans of the therapists at Ting's and enjoy the clean, soothing atmosphere where they can totally relax and enjoy their massage. Ting's also has a user friendly website where one can see the services and pricing as well as schedule their treatment sessions. I highly recommend...
