I came in today about 11:50am. Then some older man comes in right after me. Starts his order when I was next all because he knows the ladies. So others don't understand he speaks to them in Spanish to order. That is totally unfair. Just because you are real good with the ladies doesn't mean to jump ahead of everyone so you can get your order in. Wait in line like the rest of the customes. To top it off another guy was in the store before him and I. He got his order way before us and we ordered way before him. I feel as if I spoke Spanish I would have felt more welcomed but I wasn't at all. Every person that has came in speaks Spanish and got cared for more. Only if I knew Spanish I would have got my order just as fast. I only got one burrito it shouldn't take that long. I should have been out before the two people that spoke Spanish because I ordered way before them. I will never ever come to this location again....
Read moreNot a fan, I love authentic Mexican food. This place did not cut it. It was not that great. My boyfriend and I tried their giant burritos and it was really disappointing. My boyfriend got the red and I got the green. His red one tasted better than mine. Mine had like no flavor and it really needed salt. It did not taste like much. Beans were a little grainy. We got guacamole added and it was unsalted and little to no flavor. There was hardly any meat in either burritos, it was all spread out and while I was eating it I thought there was no meat in it. There was just an insanely small amount. I will never order those again. I should have tried their smaller burritos, which I think everyone is ranting and raving about. I may try them again. I ordered some of their tamales and they tasted kind of good, better than the burritos, but they were really really dry. I wanted to like this place. I still have hope and may...
Read moreTiny Mexican spot along Wyoming. Easy to miss, but I've always seen it and wanted to stop in. I went by on a Saturday morning, no one else was there. You order at a counter and the lady was nice. I got 2 breakfast burritos for my son and I. There aren't many tables and it has a VERY retro vibe. But it was clean and we took a small 2 person table.
The food was ready at the counter pretty quick. Burritos were wrapped in foil on a tray. They were tasty enough, though not exceptional. They didn't hold together well, you could definitely not eat these in the car. The red chili sauce was only ok, and dominated the flavor. The eggs were a little stingy.
There was a lot of other stuff on the menu so I'd be willing to try something non breakfast. If you're feeling adventurous, check it out! The breakfast burrito might not be the killer...
