I’ve attended Lobo women’s and men’s basketball games for the past 30 years. Yet today at the women’s game I received the most disrespectful conversation I’ve ever had with a so-called worker that was working the will-call UNM window. If you have no customer service you shouldn’t have a job in customer service. On top of that I’ve personally purchased the $13 tickets even though I know the eight dollar seats aren’t gonna have any butts in there yet because I want to support the women’s program not only because of my 12 year old daughter. Who was with me at tonight’s And also felt like the lady at the window was very Rude and somewhat obnoxious to say the least. Last but not least she stated that it wasn’t her job nor the employees at the UNM ticket office to let me know what the rules were. Then she proceeded to point out to placard’s that were inside that stated no bags were allowed I calmly pointed out to her I bought my tickets outside were no signs were displayed and I have video proof of that. Smh beyond disappointed in the treatment of your lifelong fans. It’s things like this that make our youth in Albuquerque go to New Mexico State and out of state....

I recently saw in an email that $50 deposits are being accepted for the purchase but nowhere does it give a breakdown on pricing or total cost. Website was of no help either. So, I called the ticket office to get the total cost information and the gentleman that answered said they are only taking deposits at this time and could not give me a total cost of season tickets. I then asked if the deposit was refundable and he said he did not think so. In addition, the gentleman stated that along with the unknown cost of the ticket, a required donation is imposed and he could not give me a cost for that either. This is like putting a non-refundable down payment on a car and the dealer not giving you a final price for the car until after you have signed on the deal. I am a two degree UNM alumni and have always supported Lobo basketball and football. This bait and switch approach for selling season tickets is a disappointment. Don't even except civility trying to buy ticketsvfor away games. System is bad. Tickets will be sent to you. Whrn? Don't know. How? Not surr, what did you choose? Can you print them?
