I just arrived at the Albuquerque airport and found this sweet little coffee spot nearby. Staff was super friendly, service was fast, very comfortable place to just sit and relax if you have the time, and the coffee was delicious. I got an iced latte with oat milk and the espresso was very smooth and creamy and the balance of ice and oat milk was perfect. Definitely make this a stop on your Albuquerque coffee tour.

New coffee shop at the corner of Yale & Cesar Chavez. Very cute eclectic interior and attentive service. The exterior is nondescript and they haven't got good signage yet It is operated by two young women, ably assisted by various family members and friends. I had a tasty quesadilla and excellent coffee. Well worth checking out.

If you've ever read a book about a cozy tea/coffee shop and wondered what that would look like, this place is a prime example. Lovely seating, adorable cups, and a peaceful atmosphere fill the space. This is not a city cafe to grab a fast togo cup on the way to work. Rather, a cozy retreat to hide away from the noise.

I'm usually skeptical about cafes that are touted as "quiet spaces" because they tend to get really rowdy (I mean, caffeine, anyone?) but The Girls Coffee House really has a decent customer base that respects the peace and quiet. When I visited, the only really loud people that came in, vaguely sounded like they were influencers who wanted to do an interview with the sisters who own and run the place. Most others were quietly on their laptops or phones, or spoke in hushed whispers.

Come to think of it, it's even quieter than the library near my place (the staff tend to talk to each other a lot).

Moving on, I would like to first mention how much I enjoy the decor and the dishes they use. I no longer drink coffee unless it's a really good decaf so I'm usually hunting for places that offer good tea and in this establishment, they definitely do. I had a pot of Harney & Sons Earl grey tea, choosing to go without honey or lemon that day as I had some intense work to finish and couldn't allow myself to relax just yet.

For food, I went for a ham and green Chile in a flour tortilla and she took her time to put it together. It was comforting to know that it's made fresh on the spot. Everything tasted balanced, nothing was too salty and the cheese was melted perfectly.

But the star of the show was their salsa. It was tangy and had some bite to it as well, which really complemented the otherwise simple quesadilla.

All in all, I'm looking forward to my next visit there, even though I live on the other side of town. The pursuit of peace and quiet, in a joyful environment, makes traveling a little out of my way...

Very cute atmosphere, good customer service, if you’re in a rush or have anywhere to be though this is NOT the place, unless you’re just getting drip coffee maybe. The girls while friendly, seem to lack barista experience. It took 30 minutes to get two iced lattes and a cold brew. I wouldn’t have minded the wait if the drinks were exceptional, but they were just okay. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt though and I hope with time and continued support...

Saw someone drinking something that looked mighty tasty so asked the person who took my order what the mystery bev could be; they knew immediately!! It was delicious with some incredibly smooth caramel cream foam stuff on top. I got to play with some legos on their imagination table and swung a bit in a cushioned chair swinging from the ceiling ~ awesome :-)! Their hours are convenient and they offer bananas, overall very happy and will be returning as my new frequented...
