I went to Talbots today to return a $60 dress purchased online. I saw a couple of things that I liked totaling about $150. I had recently received a coupon in the mail for $20 off a purchase, but it expired before I could use it. I asked the clerk if I might have that $20 off the $150. She said no. The coupon had a limited time use. I get that. But she’s in a store at 11:30 am with nary a customer but me.
