Never going back! The last 3 times i went therego like this- Got my haircur which was a hack job. Go back about 4 weeks later, the lady coloring my head said omg.. no offense but where did you get your haircut last, and i said here. An she said, not to be mean but its uneven and doesnt line up so im giving you a free cut today ( i told the girl last time when she did it , it dodnt look even and she said when i put it all back it is, but in the front it def. Wasnt) so anyway the girl that gave me a free cut was doing my color.. i wanted to be mostly blonde with lowlights, my hair was already light, like a sandy ash blonde , but i wanted white bold highlights and contrast dark lows.i vame out ALL BROWN, with a few blonde dongy brassy highlights. She blamed it on the lighting, i went outside and was like no, still brown, she then said after 4 washes itd brighten up, NO ive gotten my hair colored every month for 11 years now and never haid to wait for my blonde to brighten... i got it fixed the next day . Still not exactlt how i wanted, but she lightened me back to where i was. Last night ( 2 months later) my not so blonde highlights grew. So i fogured id go bacj get them relightened with the lowlights and attempt to get my hair as i wanrmted months ago. I AGAIN ended up slighlty darker and have 2 inch roots and the same dingy highlighys. I got told again its the lighting, and to use purple shampoo, and the brown bled. It looks exactly the same like she did nothing!! Probly cuz half my head she didnt color. And only toned it for some dumb reason. Wasted another 4 hours of my time there. And didnt have to pay luckily. Not to mention she was whispering to other stylists and making fun of peoples hair, and a new girl meeded help and she squaked like a chicken and glapped her elbows and kept saying " just wing it girl" careless, rushed, and dont know what...

I’m writing this review, not to be malicious but to help anyone if they were in my situation. Last week while I was working I had my phone stolen out of my purse in the employee break room. I refuse to assume that one of the employees took it. I brought it up to the owner and I have taken legal action. But when I have asked to see the footage I was told that the cameras do not really work. I have had to pay $240 out of my pocket. I have since tried to contact the owner whilst I have been terminated of my position at the salon, and I have not been contacted since. I’ve gone to Fashions Ahead for 8+ years and always have had a FANTASTIC experience. Most regularly I see Tina G., although there have been times where I have had hair or nails done by other stylists and I have always been pleased.

The atmosphere is beautiful, always clean, and everyone is very professional. It’s a top notch salon with very reasonable pricing. HIGHLY recommend.
