Been purchasing Legacy Food items from Walmart for over 1 year. A live a hotel lifestyle for work. The ease of getting good seafood without the overcharging delivery + restaurant business was welcomed. However in the last month or so the quality of the product has changed and decreased in size and value. Shrimp and grits were my favorite but it’s impossible to find it. Shrimp Alfredo was 2nd but quality of shrimp and the noodles plus the portions have changed significantly since last purchase. Bought your garlic crabs in October (2 months ago) from local butcher shop in Wiggins, MS. Popped the bag in the microwave, picked the generous amount of meat from half of the crab portions and claws, and threw the bag back in the freezer. Today, I put the folded bag of frozen crabs in the microwave for 2 minutes on each side (to re-heat them, since I'd already cooked them in October). I bought Legacy crab cakes "Maryland" style from a Food Lion in North Carolina. Being away from Maryland for a second summer, I was missing crab. Having spent most of my summers at the Eastern Shore and having access to crab, I can assure you these are not "Maryland" style crab cakes! Firstly, there would never be any imitation crab, or fish in the recipe. It wasn't horrible, but to call it a crab cake - is false advertising!
