Meijer — Local services in Alma

I live in the metro Detroit area and have vacation property near this Alma Meijer. I thought I would try the click and pull service Shipt to have my order ready for pick up on my way up on Fri evening. I placed my order 24 hrs in advance and chose a pick up time slot of between 6-7. After driving 2 and a half hours, I arrived at Meijer just before 7. When looking at my phone I saw that I had a text sent at 6pm stating that my pick up time slot had been changed to between 7-8. This wouldn't be too bad to wait a few minutes but then I got another text that my time slot had changed again to between 8-9. I called the phone number to the Shipt service on the text and remained on hold for 15 mins only to find out that a shopper had not even been assigned to my order! After spending an hour to place the order in the first place, now I had to cancel it and shop. I also couldn't access my order so I had to shop from memory. What a total inconvenience, I will never use this service again. Nothing against the Meijer store in general, I have always had a good...

Edit 5.11.22: losing a star because of this: There is a big issue I have with the ladies bathroom in this Meijer. The 2 smaller stalls in the front bathrooms are not set up right. The toilets are WAY too close to the side of the stall so you cannot help but touch the little trash can attached there. It's very gross and the only way to change it would be to move the stall sides to the right at least 6". The big stall is too huge because whoever designed it didn't do their job correctly. (Probably a guy, cuz they don't use those and therefore wouldn't know😄) Doesn't matter your size, you'd have to be under 60 lbs to not hit the trash can. I try to avoid the small stalls at ALL costs because of this issue. I will say I love the redo they've done to the produce section! They now have way more organic stuff and they keep it fresher than they used to!! That is worth 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Great customer service! Great selection! I LOVE the produce selection. Best selection of Produce that I have ever seen not in a specialty health store. Even beats some of them. Plus, the prices are way cheaper than expected, especially if you watch out for sales and use Mperks. Plus, I love the 10% discounts when using a Michigan Bridge Card-SNAP benefits. They also have the best clothing selection I have ever seen for a department store. The electronics are always stocked and it is really easy to get somebody to unlock. I love that instead of a glass case for the locked items, they have the video-games on a special hanger that locks each one individually, but you can spin the item to see all sides of it. I wish more stores would use it. The grocery's freezer section is good on the environment because the lights to the freezer are off, but ad you walk in the aisle, the lights turn on because of motion sensors. Way...
